Becoming An Luna

Chapter 2

Chocolate. She smelled chocolate. We were literally looking at a chocolate shaped statue of a man.

Well on the bright side it was a person... Kind of?

She didn't even answer only growled and shut me out. I shook my head in amusement and walked around a bit. I looked at the different types of people at the party, the way they dress, the way they talk or move around.

All to fancy and full of class. I walk to the dance floor and take a seat at a near by table. I look out at the forest next to me and see a few guards walking their patrol. One looked at me for a few seconds and bowed in respect when he recognised me. I nod my head back and he continues walking.

The traditional wolf dance was about to start and I toke my place next to Will and smiled at him. When the music started he grabbed a hold of my side and spins me fast into his arms bringing me into a all around dip. I was pulled up again and our feet started moving.

We were in the middle so the rest danced in a circle around us. He let go of my one hand and I swing my body out to drop down to the floor into a split. He pulls me up and around his neck for me to stand in front him arm out. My one leg slowly makes a half circle and I'm thrown into the sky to make a 360° turn. I land on my feet again to be dipped. The rest of the song was slow and by the time it stopped the party was on full blast.

"I'm gonna go get a drink, want anything? " I ask as I get up looking at Will. He shakes his head no and I walk away.

As I was walking a small body was thrown my way, thank goodness for my quick reflexes I caught him on time. I made a spin as his body collided with mine. I rested him on my hip and gave him a look.

"And where did you come from? "

He only smiled shyly and hid his face in my neck. I looked around me to see if anyone was coming to get him. I saw no-one and sighed, I start walking to the bar again with superman on my hip. Literally, he was dressed as Superman.

"So Superman, shouldn't you be able to be flying on your own?" I asked as I put him down on the stool next to me.

"It's not my fault, Jimmy didn't throw hard enough! " he huffed and folded his arms to be dramatic. I almost smiled but pulled a serious face.

"I can't believe it, I told him to throw hard and far! " he said, even though I have no idea who Jimmy is...

"Jamie! "

I look to my left to see a talk dark browned hair dude jog our way, he was maybe 6'3? But he was well built and kinda cute. "I looked everywhere for you, how far did you fly? " he asked scratching his head "Did you have a soft landing?"

Jamie glared at him and pointed his finger in his face" you almost killed me! And no I didn't fly far, but luckily for you she caught me before I can die! " when he was done he smiled at me.

I did a half smile and looked at the guy in front of me. "I amuse your Jimmy? " I asked when I saw him checking me out.

"Yeah and you are? " Jimmy asked as he pick Jamie up.

"Isabella, Alpha Johnsons adopted daughter " I said as I took a sip of my Coke.

"Your 'the Isabella?'" he had a look of shock on his face, "As in the Isabella that single handedly took down 20 Deadlers while injured?"

"Umm that happens a long time ago, but yes that's me" I said a bit uncomfortable with the situation I'm in.

"A year isn't long ago! I still can't believe it, a soon to be Alpha female, kicked ass when she was only 19 years old! " Jimmy said also to excited.

"I prefer the term Luna" Jamie said as he smiled at me.

"Yeah, like I said long time ago. But listen I gotta get going, father's probably wondering where I am. Nice meeting you" I quickly said and jumped up grabbing my purse.

They waved goodbye and I walk back to my table just in time for Alpha Michael's speech. He thank every one for coming and so on.

But I didn't pay attention, my mind was stuck on that, that night I found out what I could really do. The look in their eyes when I took their lives. Fear and shock. The last thing their eyes showed.

My thoughts was interrupted when a blood perishing scream was heard from the woods on my left. Soon followed by an howl. I shot up from my seat to see wolfs running along the tree lines. A dark brown wolf makes his way to the small stage Alpha Michael is standing on.

He shifts back as he jumps on the stage, standing naked. Gasps was heard as everyone stared at him. When I say the man was in shape, I mean he was in fucking shape. His muscles flexed with every move and you could see his six pack as clear as day, his
V-line also visible.

I immediately recognize the wolf as Alpha Jefferson, of the Black Moon pack. A growl erupts from my chest, Alex was going crazy in my head.

"Ah Alpha Michael, why I see your having a party. May we join? "

That baster, how dare he! He knows he is not allowed over the border! This is our part of the land, he has no right being here.

"What do you want Jefferson? " Alpha Michael said, looking real fed up with all this shit.

Within minutes Alpha Michael was on the floor chocking. A lot of our wolfs started attacking but the Deadlers, emerge from the trees and started attacking. I pulled my dress down and shifted ready to attack. No need to ruin a perfect looking dress.

My first kill for the day went fast. Alex took over and jumped on a wolf smaller that me sinking her teeth into his neck not releasing until she heard the crack of its bone. She drops it and we look up to see a gray wolf running into the trees, Jamie in his jaw. Two other wolves chasing after him.

I let out a howl and start sprinting after them. I don't feel the sticks leafing scars on me only the soft ground underneath me. I push forward and catch up to the two wolfs. I recognize their smell as another pack. I ignore their snares and push past them

As I get on the gray wolfs tail, I push my back legs forward and jump on his back. I grab a hold of Jamie's shirt and pulled him back. I bark to the wolves behind me and threw Jamie as hard as I could. One of them lucky got what I meant and jumped up to grab ahold of Jamie. I barked again and the wolf turned around running back to the party with Jamie on his back.

I turn back when the gray wolf jumped at me heading for my neck. But luckily for my quick reflexes I fall down on my back and kick the wolf in the stomach, sending him flying towards a tree, breaking a few bones. He lay's lifeless against the tree and I get up walking towards him snaring.

Just when I wanted to attack a black wolf beat me to it biting into his neck breaking it. I bark in protest and bump him with my head. I turn around snaring as I shift back.

"What the hell dude he was mine! " I screamed as I turn around only to freeze in my spot, breathless. He walks towards me looking me straight in the eyes. A shiver goes down my spine as I stand helpless under his chin.

"Mate" he said, no more like growled.
