Korra crossed her arms angrily, staring at Tenzin, Lin, Mako and Bolin.
They were all worried that she was in danger from people trying to kill her again after the recent attack by the southern spirit portal.
Mako especially.
Though the two broke up, he never did stop loving the Avatar, and wanted her to be okay.
"No. I'm telling you that we caught them all Korra. None of them got through the portal." Mako states, trying to stop his ex from doing something stupid.
The truth was he didn't know if they had caught them all, but they weren't about to tell Korra that.
That would only ensure Korra going into the Spirit World, with, or without their consent.
And Mako wasn't going to let that happen.
"If your sure about that then why can't I go check around? Its not like anything can hurt me when I'm there anyway." Korra argues, crossing her arms over her chest.
Bolin shakes his head as Opal wraps up his cut arm from the fight.
"Sorry Korra, but I'm standing with Mako on this. There is no point in going into the spirit world. We caught them." He winces, making Opal shoot him an apologetic smile.
The Avatar shakes her head.
"Come on Lin, even you have to admit its a good idea for me to go check." She says pointedly.
The cheif shakes her head, crossing her arms to parallel the Avatar.
"No Korra. You will not go into the Spirit World if I have anything to say about it." The metal bender decides.
Korra narrows her eyes, about to look to Tenzin to ask, but gets a stern glare in response.
"No. I will not allow it." He says stubbornly.
Korra was about to argue more, but a knock came on the door, followed by Asami walking in, looking nerved by the sight of the conference.
"Uh, sorry, am I interrupting something?" She asks, looking awkward.
She hated when she interrupted meetings like this, it made her feel so out of place.
"No. Actually I need your opinion on something." Korra says, dragging her best friend over by the arm.
Asami couldn't help but see the looks on all of their faces.
"Sure. What is it?" She questions, feeling awkward as Korra turns to face her, blue eyes connecting with green.
"You know those guys who came after me yesterday that we caught by the spirit portal?" Korra questions, making Asami nod.
She knew all too well about it.
Asami had heard about it and felt a pang of anger and worry go through her.
She knew that losing Korra would take a huge toll on her.
In other words, Asami couldn't lose her, it would be too much.
"Yeah. How could I not?" Asami asks bitterly, crossing her arms over her chest.
"Well, I want to make sure none of them made it into the spirit world by meditating in and going around to check. Nothing dangerous, just a simple sweep." Korra explains to the CEO, looking slightly more calm explaining this to her.
Asami narrows her eyes, making Korra think she will side with the others and the others look hopeful.
"That sounds perfectly reasonable. Its not like you can get hurt while you are in the spirit world anyways. So, what's the problem?" Asami asks looking confused.
