*Hush*

I stare out the pointless window.

That's in my pointless bedroom.

While I lie on my pointless bed.

Thinking about my pointless life.

All I want to be able to do is one thing. But life won't let me. I'm stuck playing my shitty guitar in my shitty bedroom waiting for someone to notice me.

It's like I'm watching a clock tick at every minute and hoping that the next minute will open up a whole door of opportunities. But the door stays shut. It never opens. However hard I try and wish and hope it doesn't work, it's all bullshit.

I roll of my bed hoping to fall into a pointless black hole to go with my pointless life, but no. I land straight on my face my body shortly following.

I groan as I pull my lifeless body up.

No ones home, might be the fact that I live alone, but no ones home.

I go to my fridge, knowing it's probably empty, but I don't have psychic powers so I actually have to check.
Okay, maybe I do have psychic powers.

I shut the fridge door, not wanting the imaginary food to go off, and walk to my front door to check if any mails come through.

To my surprise there's nothing, but a black envelope addressed to the famous Juliet Simms.

Well soon to be famous Juliet Simms anyway.

At the back the letter is stamped with one of those wax things, I don't know what they're called but you know what I mean? Right?

I sit at my parents old dining table that they kindly gave me as a moving out present. Well not kindly they couldn't sell it because it's a 30 year old piece of shit and just wanted it gone so they decided to thoughtfully give it to me.

Ugh.

I start to open the letter hoping that it's from Hogwarts or some shit, but no. It's from somewhere much better, I think? I can't tell if it's real or not. I mean it looks genuine, it even comes with a leaflet. I begin to read the letter properly.

Dear Miss Simms,
We are happy to inform you that we have heard some of your material and would love to have you join our school. The success of our school is shocking and we would love to share the success with you. After all every Rockstar has to start somewhere. We want you to come along for a one day induction on the 19th of March. Although it is your choice we would like for you to join our artists in the Acoustic Rock Sector, as we think it would fit with your material the best. If you decide to come to the induction, the address will be noted at the bottom, along with the time of arrival. We hope to see you there.

Was this an actual dream or is this real life I don't even know if what to do.

How did they find me, and how have I never heard of them if there as successful as they say they are?

I remembered that the letter came with a leaflet, so I take a look.

Our school has a wide range of sectors where our artists explore different genres of the Rock music world.

Many of our pupils take pride in there chosen sector whether we choose it for them based on the music they produce,or whether they choose the path they would like to follow.

Through these decisions the amount of success for our artists have been incredible in the past 40 years.

Once graduated from our school, the graduates are welcome to come in for help, guidance and support when in times of need.
