"So Johnny how's the album going,when's the next single coming out? ", Arsenio asked. "Well the album is done as of yesterday, and the next single will be out next month", I said drinking my glass of water. Arsenio was a close friend of mine so why wouldn't I come on his show to promote my album? "Great so I'm about to ask you a question I think everyone want the answer to he'll even me",He said. "Okay ask away", I said. "Well what is going on with you and Ms.Lisa Bonet?", he asked. All I could do was laugh, every time I did an interview this was always the main topic. Arsenio has been rooting for us since day 1.
"Y'all really want to know?", I asked. The crowd started getting excited. "Well to be honest Lisa is my best friend and that's all to it", I said. "Yeah yeah that's what they all say", Arsenio said. "Well I can see Ms.Denise Huxtable aka America's TV Sweetheart with Mr.Rub you the right way can't you folks", Arsenio said as the crowd cheered. "As a matter of fact this girl beautiful girl, told me she went on a date with you. She said you took her to your home, gave her some champagne, then you sung a song for her",Arsenio explained. "Now is that what you do on most dates?", He asked. "Actually it is", I started laughing. Then all of a sudden Arsenio picked a girl out of the audience I can "demonstrate" on.
"Oh so long for this night I pray, that a star would guide you my way, to share with me this special day, where a ribbon in the sky for our love", I sung. The crowd started cheering, "I'm gone give him some if you don't", Arsenio said playfully, "We'll be right back". While we we're on break I decided to go backstage to talk to Lisa she's been backstage the whole time watching the show. As a matter of fact the song I had just sung was one of her favorites by Stevie Wonder.

I got back in town last night and surprised Johnny at his concert. Since he was going to be on The Arsenio Hall Show tonight.I told him I'd come for support, then we'd go back to my house later. "So is that really what you do on all first dates?", I asked laughing. "Not on all but mostly", Johnny said. "Mhmm cliche, cliche,cliche", I said. "Yeah yeah I got to go, but when the show is over we're going back to your place", Johnny explained. He went back onstage for one last song, said his goodbyes, then we left.
"Johnny , have you ever been in love?", I asked. He almost choked on his pizza. "Umm wh-why do you ask?",He said nervously. "I was just thinking , 22 years of my life I've never really experienced it", I said. "Well I love you", He said trying to lighten the mood. "I KNOW THAT!", I started laughing. "I'm serious Lisa, you're my best friend I don't know what I'd do without you", He explained. "Mhmm I love you too", I said slightly dozing off. I'm so glad Johnny moved to LA last year. But he'll be in Atlanta for his album release party. "Goodnight baby girl", He said, as we both fell asleep on the couch.
