Emma P.O.V

I awoke to the irksome sound of my alarm clocks banshee like scream ringing in my ears, notifying me that it was time to get ready for the first day back at school at Mystic High. My body ached and begged for more sleep, but the alarm kept getting more and more annoying until I used my energy to roll over, and slam the 'snooze' button. I closed my eyes and groaned, bringing the warm comforters over my head. I was willingly falling back asleep as it greeted me with open arms, when I hear my bedroom door open, and feel weight pushing down the side of my bed next to me, telling me that someone was laying down next to me, I hear their deep groan being muffled by my pillow. I uncover my head and was greeted with dark hair tickling my nose, but smelt like AXE shampoo. I turn on my side and face the person next to me, as they do the same, and face me. I am greeted by the familiar face of my older brother's chocolate brown eyes, pale complexion, pointed nose, and his short spiked brown hair. I smile at him and say, "I'm not ready to go back to school Bubba." I admit to him. I've been calling him that since I was a baby, when I couldn't say 'Jeremy'. Our older sister, Elena, prefers to call him 'Jer', my parents tried to get me to call him that, but I never would, and he never seemed to care either way, I think he likes it.

He looks at me sadly and takes my in his arms as we kept laying down, he rested his chin on top of my head and sighed. We stayed like that for a minute, when I felt him kiss the top of my head, I pulled away and layed back down on my pillow as he said, "Me neither Em. But I don't think we have much of a choice." I nod at him slowly. "So come on, get up. You know, if you don't get up now Elena will come up here herself." He warned me.

Last time Elena came to wake me up, it ended in me being locked in my closet for almost two hours with a scrape on my forhead and a broken lamp, when Jeremy finally came home and let me out. Lets just say, when I saw Elena again at the football fields watching Matt practice, she came back home with a little bit more than just some, 'scrapes and bruises', and it wasn't from me, I would never be able to hurt her. Jeremy argued with her for a while, and then out of nowhere a football came flying at her head, knocking her into the car, and then onto the rocky pavement. I felt so bad for her, I was the one that played doctor with her for that night until I officially nursed her back to health. That was last year.

I smiled and groaned into the pillow once again. He got up off my bed and walked over to my closet, going through my stuff. He took out a pair of my black high waisted shorts with gold studs on the left pocket, and threw them on the edge of my bed. He then starts moving around the hangers in my closet, then finally throws me my white tanktop shirt with a greyscaled photo of water, several palm trees standing on a land of sand, and the moon phases above it. Lastly, he dropped my black and white supra vaider high tops by my bed, then looked at me, seeing that I hadn't moved a single muscle.

"Alright, you asked for it." he chuckled as he made his way over to my side of the bed. I burried my head back into my pillows, then I felt his hands slide under my body, scooping my over his shoulder, I let out a laugh, as does he as he spins me around.

"Jeremy stop!" I laugh. "Stop!"

"Are you awake yet?" He asks with a smile on his face.

I playfully pound on his back and laugh, "Yes! Yes I'm awake! Put me down!"

"Okay, you asked for it." He says. He leans over, causing me to fall backwards off his shoulder landing on my bed, and he towers over me with his hands out.

"No. No, Jeremy no!" I scream as he begins tickling my stomach. I try to peel his hands away, but he is to strong for me.

When he finally stopped, He stepped back with a smile on his face. "Get dressed." he told me as he walked out of my room. I changed into the outfit he threw at me, deciding that it didn't look to bad since he picked it out. My hair fell down in its natural golden brown waves down, reaching my lower back, and my bangs pushed over, to where it covered most of my left hazel brown eye. I put on a couple layers of mascara and eyeshadow, and a pair of my mothers dangle sapphire blue earrings, with a snake cuff hooking around my cartilage. Then a gold family arlume locket necklace with a single diamond in the front. It was my grandmothers, each generation, we put in a new picture of the new generation family inside. The picture inside consisted of my brother and sister, My parents, and me on a picnic. I could feel the anguish start climbing to the surface, but I refuse to let it reach the top. I try and cover it up and put a believable smile on my face as I stand in front of my vanity. I grab my black Alexander Wang backpack, pulled my phone off the charger, seeing a text from Tyler on my screen.
