Hey guys! This is my first article so I’m sorry if it sucks -_-
Top 40 No-No’s
Right first of all I’m going to tell you guys about the songs that I believe shouldn’t be in the charts. This is based off of the Official UK Top 40.
~We can’t stop ~ Miley Cyrus.
I’m not too sure if it’s still in the charts but I think it is. I just really dislike this song, and the music video? Just no.
~Blurred Lines ~ Robin Thicke.
Well we’ve all heard it and seen the video, there’s no way we couldn’t have! This came out in the summer and amazingly it’s still in the charts. The last I checked it was at 34. I don’t get how this was a number one single, its disrespectful to women.
~Talk Dirty ~ Jason Derulo.
Now I really like Jason Derulo, I love his music and his dancing but this really lets him down for me. Again I feel like this is disrespectful to women. I like the tune and his voice in it but it’s the lyrics that make me hate this.
~Jack ~ Breach.
Again I’m not too sure if this is in the charts still but I know it was recently. The song is just horrible, the way its sung, the lyrics pretty much just repeat themselves again and again. The video? Its just down right creepy!
So that’s my four Top 40 No-No’s.
Feature Artist!
So in every article I’m going to choose an artist and tell you guys some stuff about them.
This time I’ve chosen the band Marianas Trench!
They’re a Canadian band. From Vancouver, British Columbia to be exact. They started up in 2001 and are still going. They consist of four members. ~ Josh Ramsay, Matt Webb, Mike Ayley and Ian Casselman.
My favourite album of theirs is Ever After.
Some of my favourite songs are ~ B Team, Stutter, Truth or Dare and Toy Soldiers.
Now I’m going onto the songs that have been playing on 4Music {The only good music channel I get.} Some are from the Official UK Top 40 and some are from the Future Hits.
~ Royals ~ Lorde.
In case you don’t know how to say her name it’s just Lord. She added an E on the end because she wanted to. Anyway I love her voice, its quite different from what’s in the charts right now and I love how down to earth this song is, well I think its down to earth.
~Bonfire Heart ~ James Blunt.
This is in the charts right now, I know that for sure. Anyway, I love this song, it’s one of those ones I listen to when I feel like I need to get away from the world and just block everything out with music. I love James Blunt’s voice as well, it’s kind of different but its really nice to listen to.
~Nobody till somebody loves you ~ James Arthur.
I just love this song, well the chorus mainly but I just love the tune of it, that’s all there is to say really.
Now, I’m going to say a song that’s going be my favourite song at this moment in time.
That happens to be… Story Of My Life ~ One Direction.
Pure perfection.. that’s all there is to say!
