Dreams that were once unbreakable
Yet, paired with smiles that were oh so fakeable
Pretending that things were wholesome as ever
Though the lies he has shall forever be clever
The hardships he faces are untold stories
Ones of pain, suffering, that hold no glories
Was so strong, full of fight
Sadly though he's only filled with freight
Watching life slip him by
Just as clouds dance In the sky
Wishing things were like the past
Although these dreams seem to never last
His world crashing and burning
Desperately fighting yet only returning
To the start of his own demise
And if you look closely you will see pain behind his eyes
Slowly losing his way the darkness surrounds him
Though he knows that this will only end grim
On his own dealing with his inner strife
Slipping away he mumbles "What a Fragile Life"

شِعرThese poetry pieces I wrote for a poetry project I had in English class my Sophomore year in high school. Tell me what you think of them in the comments. I will most likely add on to this as I write more poetry!
