Chapter 3

The next morning Byung Hun awoke to a very hyper Chang Hyun bouncing on his bed, "Wake up, Byung Hun!!" He groaned and tried to trip him to make him fall and stop. "Too slow!" Chang Hyun laughed. Byung Hun sat up reluctantly. "Yay!" Chang Hyun exclaimed, "The prince arises!" Byung Hun raised his eyebrow in a look of amused confusion, "Prince?"

Chang Hyun laughed, "Yup!" He said as he jumped off of the bed and bounded away down the hall. Byung Hun groaned and pulled the covers away as he stood up. He walked into the kitchen to find everyone at the table eating breakfast. "The late one has awakened!" Ahn Daniel laughed.

"Even Min Soo is awake!" Jong Hyun joked. Byung Hun grunted and tried, in vain, to rub the sleep from his eyes. He stumbled through his limited morning vision towards the fridge. He opened the door and shivered as the cold air hit his skin through his tank top and boxers. He grabbed the milk and closed the door as quickly as possible. He walked back to the table and noticed that everyone but Chang Hyun was staring at him pointedly. "What?" He asked, confused. Chan Hee glanced at the others and they nodded almost imperceptibly. "We want to know why you behaved so rudely last night when your best friend put his heart on the line like that." He stated, speaking for the group. Chang Hyun looked up panicked, "It's alright! He apologized last night!" Byung Hun blushed slightly, because his dirty mind made a joke of Chang Hyun's statement, but maintained his cool for the most part. "I was shocked. It came out of the blue and I needed a minute to let it sink in." He stated calmly. He thought he saw Min Soo smirk and try to stifle a slight chuckle. Chan Hee looked at Byung Hun in annoyance, "So, you thought yelling, running away and slamming doors was a good way to say you needed time to get used to it?"

Byung Hun gave him a hardened stare, "I wasn't able to think clearly last night. I don't know why I reacted that way." Min Soo smirked again. His expression was clear this time, and challenging. It said, 'I think you do know why you reacted that way. Share your little secret with us.' Byung Hun glared at him, not unnerved by his confident composure. Chan Hee snorted, "Whatever. We won't forget it easily." Byung Hun shrugged, threw the milk back in the fridge, then retreated to his room. "Hey," Min Soo called after him, "Don't forget to be ready to leave for our night out by seven." Byung Hun heard him, but refused to acknowledge so. As he entered his room, he took off his tank top and walked to his dresser to grab a change of clothes. Once he was dressed, he flopped into his and Chang Hyun's giant bed and put his headphones in. A few minutes later Byung Hun removed one earbud as Chang Hyun entered shyly, giving Byung Hun only quick glances. "I'm sorry about that," he conceded, "I didn't tell them to...." Byung Hun looked at him and gave him a withering smile, "It's fine."
