 CHAPTER4:

I slowly crept up the stairs wishing that I didn't have to go back into Master Tyler’s room. I gave a small sigh to steady my shaky breath as I knocked on the door. I Hoped to god that they had left and I didn’t need to bring them their drinks or even see their faces.

Nothing, No answer

I knocked again; no answer. I rested my ear against the door; I heard the muffled sounds of growling and panting.

I followed my own judgement and slightly opened the door so that I could see what was happening within the room. What I saw was horrific.

A girl who at the most looked around five years old was lying on the floor. Her eyes looked lifeless as she stared right in to me. Her skin was looked frighteningly pale. Tyler and his friends were crouched around her. When I realised what was going on a gasp escaped from my mouth. All eyes turned on me. I wanted to run but for some reason I stood frozen. Tyler stood up out of the crowd. He looked different, he had a bit of blood on the side of his mouth, and his skin looked so much paler then his usual tanned skin. His eyes were a glowing orange like everyone else’s in the room. He looked angry and snarled at me; he started too walked toward me.

We were at least 9 centimetres away from each other and I was shaking with fear. He raised his hand slapped me across my face so hard that my moth started bleeding. I stumbled back dropping the tray of drinks to the floor my hand flew to my cheek out of shock. Tears started to flow, I began to feel dizzy and my eyes started to become unfocused. .

“I'm sorry master” I muttered trying to stop the tears running down my face.

I automatically took a step back and waited to see what he would do next

“Don't you ever open my door without permission again” he growled out I once I again muttered an apology. I bent my knees and dropped to the floor to pick up the broken glass, trying my hardest not to cut my fingers in the progress.

No body made a sound as they watched me pick up the glass. My hand was trembling as I picked up the last of the glass and made my way to the door.

“Where do you think you’re going?” A voice said almost screeching.

I looked back to see the same girl that was lying on Tyler’s lap before now standing up straight and glaring at me.

“Sorry Miss I thought I wasn't needed anymore” I said in a whisper

“Are you back-chatting me?” Her face started to get red as she gave me a nasty smile and literally jumped on top of me making me fly back and hit my head on the door.

“Don't you ever talk back to me; do you understand what I am saying?” She shrieked as she sat on top of me and slapped my face repeatedly. She was around the same height as me but a little skinnier but her strength was magnificent.

“I'm sorry.... I'm sorry” Was all that I could muster.

“Don't you ever come back into this room without knocking!’’ She yelled at me. She still didn't let me go as she kept on slapping my face.

“That’s enough Leanne!’’ said a distant voice from behind her that sounded like Tyler.

Leanne didn't let go of me and her eyes started to become a darkish red.

“THAT'S ENOUGH!” Tyler commanded this time pulling Leanne way from me.

Pain reached my face as I stood up. All seven of them were still looking at me.

“GET OUT!” Tyler shouted at me as he tried to detain Leanne.

I ran out the room, my eyes were blurry and my head was pulsing. I couldn't walk straight so I used the banister to help me. I only got down two stairs when I felt my knees fail on me and my whole body collapse. I rolled down the stairs; no sound came out of my mouth as I hit the ground and blacked out.

I woke up to find myself in a warm room. It was painted in a chestnut colour and looked very wood like and homey. I tried to sit up but my body felt limp and tired so I figured it was better for me to just stay lying down. I looked around and realised that I was lying on a beautiful master bed which had the softest mattress in the known world. There was pain all throughout my body and the temptation to just close my eyes and go back to sleep was just too much to resist so I started to doze off again.

Around an hour later I woke up and my body had enough strength to sit up. Nobody was in the room and this time I had the time to have a real observation. There was a warm fire in the middle of the bedroom, and the ceiling was painted navy to I guess give it a cosy affect.

I heard the door inch open and Master Tyler walked in. I jumped off the bed as if it had just been set on fire. He was wearing a black top that clung to his muscles like a second skin with Dark blue well fitted jeans and high topped black air forces on his feet. He looked hot and for a moment I just stood there ogling at him.

“Are u ok?” He said snapping me out of my trance, his hands in his pocket as he leaned against the door.

I nodded not wanting to strain my sore cheeks when I spoke.

I saw Master Tyler’s eyes glance behind me behind me, so I turned to see a big mirror. I noticed my reflection I looked horrendous!

My cheeks were swollen and I had a block eye which was obviously for the Leanne girl and Master Tyler.

Master Tyler. . . I looked back to see him just gazing at me as I look in the mirror.

My eyes began to well up and tears ran down my face.

Tyler flinched and took one step forward, I took one step back.

I didn't want him near me after what happened last night.

He took another step towards me this time I took two back hoping he wouldn’t come any closer.

His eyes looked hurt but I didn't give him a second glance, and at that very moment I realised that I hated him.

“I'm sorry” he managed to whisper

By this time tears where streaming down my cheeks making my bruises sting. I knew that I looked terrible.

I didn't say anything and just stared at the ground hoping he would let it go and leave me alone.

“I'm so sorry” he said again, this time I heard his voice break down a little.

I glanced up to see him at least 3 steps away from me.

I slowly started to walk backwards hoping that I was making my way as far from him as possible. But he didn't flinch and in seconds he was behind me his hot breathe hitting my neck.

I immediately had butterflies as he just stood behind me. His lips were right at my ears and the sensation was so alien to me.

“I really am sorry” he whispered into my ear the vibrations causing me to shiver.

The guilty and desperate tones to his made me want to melt at his feet but suddenly remembering the fear I had for him overpowered it.

He simply put his hands on my waist and just stood there holding onto me as if I was a missing jigsaw piece from his puzzle.

I moved myself away from him, breaking the moment that we had just shared.

“Master, I have to go”

And with that I walked to the door and left the room limping down the stairs and into my cold cell next to the kitchen. My eyes burned and body ached so I just curled up in a ball and cried myself to sleep.
