He saw her, again. She was wearing a dress. A beautiful dress that was fit for this dinner, while he's wearing a shirt that says "Life is short, & so is your penis." What a great first impression to her parents.
"Oh. Hi. Mr and Mrs-" He stared ag them, waiting for them to reply. But then he saw their stern gaze. He felt small, and intimidated. He can feel them judging him, and his appearance. He saw the way they looked at his shirt. He then saw the girl, she was still smiling, no trace of judgement, just a kind expression.
"Let them in, Calvin." His mom said, he let them in, as they went inside their house, and saw the way the new neighbors were looking at everything in the house.
"Hi, Mr. And Mrs. Soberano. I'm Rose Vain, and this is my son, Calvin. Please take a seat, I'll prepare the food." His mom went to his kitchen, he followed her, but then she said.
"Go entertain them while I get the food."
"I don't know how."
"That's your problem. Be a man and do it. You're pretty good at entertaining strangers." He sighed and went back to them. He saw them being bored out of their minds. He went to speak, but then his mom arrived and sat down with them.
"Let's eat." His mom said, and tried to encourage them to get the food.
"We have to pray first." A soft, and gentle voice spoke. He stared at her, as he saw her close her eyes, and so did her parents, his mom did awkwardly, and he followed too.
"Bless us Oh Lord, and these Thy gifts, which we are about to receive, from Thy bounty through Christ our Lord, Amen." She prayed. She then raised her head and smiled cutely at them.
"Well, dig-in." She said. His mom was so curious to know about them.
"So, wha do you do for a living, Rose." Mr. Soberano asked his mom.
"I'm a nurse, and I take care of my son here."
"No dad?"
"He died from drug overuse."
"Oh."
Mr. Soberano was shifting awkwardly as he asked the question.
"What do you do for a living?" It's his mom's turn to ask.
"I'm a pshchologist, and my wife here is a housewife."
"How about your daughter?" His mom asked, with that, he jolted his head, waiting to hear about her.
"Well, she's still 18, and is a major in English and math. She has a 3.0 gpa." Mr. Soberano boasted.
"Wow. That's amazing. And she's very beautiful too."
"Thank you, Mrs. Vain." The beautiful girl smiled at his mom.
"Please, call me Rose, what's your name?"
What's your name.
Calvin was legit excited to know her name. She was thinking about her as.. Aurora? But she doesn't fit that name. She's way too innocent.
"It's Liza."
Liza. Liza Soberano. Liza S. Vain.
Okay, that escalated so quickly.
He liked her name, it really fits her looks, her attitude. He wanted to know more.
"You're in grade what?"
"I was going to be in my fourth year in College, but my parents moved here."
"Fourth??"
"Yes. I take classes on summer."
"Wow. If only my son took college."
"Why am I-" Calvin was ready to reply, but his mom cut him off.
"It's late. Are you guys sure you don't need to pack?"
"It is, actually. Thank you for dinner." Mrs. Soberano said.
All the three of them said thanks, and went out. His mom cleaned the dishes, and he tried to help, but then he felt drained.
He went to his room and changed into his sleeping attire.
He was so scared about her dad. He seemed like a very important and intimidating man. And a psychologist, wow.
He was thinking about her. She wasn't wearing any make up, just lip gloss. He took his phone and tweeted.
Sorry for not uploading any videos tonight. Was busy.
After his tweet, he received a lot of replies.
