Hold On : Chapter 16

*Hello ladies and gents. I'm really sorry that this chapter update is so late at night, but Thursday is the day we go shopping. Anyway let's get into chapter 16 of baby samgladiator shall we?*

(Sam's POV)

Taurtis was slammed against the wall by Jane. "N-no! D-don-t h-hurt hi-im!" I said. My voice was raspy and sore. "Heh, why don't you go back to your home and act like nothing happened little Taurtis?" Jane said in an oddly sweet voice. "Never! You don't get to hurt my Sam and get away with it!" Taurtis said and threw a punch at her face which hit her cheek. This caused her to lose balance and drop him. She felt her face and looked at her hand.

(Jane's POV)

I looked at my hand and looked at the red liquid that I knew all to well slowly sliding down my fingertips. Then I started laughing. "You're gonna regret ever doing that little boy!" I said evily as I charged at him. Then it turned into a full on fist fight. We were both throwing punches sometimes managing to hit the other. Taurtis had alredy sustained a bruise and a few cuts while I had a black eye and a bloody nose. We were both breathing really heavy and gasping for air trying to catch our breath. "I see the once chubby lad has grown into a fighter." I say with a smirk. I only did because of you, you witch!" Taurtis says glaring daggers at me which causes me to chuckle and once again we were fighting again.

(Dom's POV)

"Guys we need back up!" I whisper. "Okami and Silly should still be in town." Grian adds. "Let's go get them then!" J says before all of us sneek out of the hidden lair. "Hurry! The sooner we get them the better!" I say as I run down the alleyway to the police station. "Okami! Okami!" Ellen shouts as we enter that station. "We need you to come now! Jane's back and she has Sam and is fighting with Taurtis!" J exclaimed. "What?!" She says with worry in her eyes. "No time to explain. Just come with us!" Grian says as he runs out the door. "Silly! Gather up the troops! Cod red!" Okami says. The we take off after Grian with the rest of us following him. We made it to the alleyway and Ellen used her majic to open the secret door. "Dom, Grian, J , Ellen, and Silly are going inside with me. Everyone else stay positioned out here and wait until further instructed." She ordered them. "Yes ma'am!" They all reply. We walk down the dimly lit hallway again but it was quieter than it was before which was really worrying. Silly had her pistol in hand while Okami had her rifile as we walked quietly down the long stone hallway.

(Sam's POV)

I couldn't just lay here and watch Taurtis fight with Jane but the pain I was feeling was really unbearable. I looked at Taurtis and saw the small hope of light in his eyes. I pushed myself upward but failed the first try. Finally I was able to sit up and I noticed there was a metal pipd next to where I was sitting. I reached up and got a good grip an it and pulled myself up. I started to wobble and my legs felt like jello. Just then Jane pulled out a knife and  threw it at him.

(Taurtis's POV)

Jane threw the knife at me and I closed my eyes. I knew this was the end of me so why would I try to evade it but the knife never touched me. I opened my eyes and saw Sam standing infront of me and saw the knife was impailed deep into his heart. "Sam!" I say as Sam started to fall to the ground. I caught him in my arms and just then I heard a gunshot and saw Jane flop down immediatly. I looked to a corner to see Silly, Okami, and the others running toward me and Sam. "Sam?" I ask tears filling my eyes. "T-taurtis stay s-strong for m-me." Sam said stroking my check with a smile on his face. I held his hand in my hand. Sam closed his eyes and just then his hand fell down to his side. "Sam? Sam?! Sam!" I say as tears started streaming down my face. "Call 911 somebody!" J yelled. "Sam, please hang on... for me....
