Truth
Ashlynn's POV
I woke up late in the morning, finding my dad already left the house. I paced around the house finding no work to come up with. As I was still not feeling a bit of hunger, so I drag myself up to my room to take a quick shower and remove all the rustiness.
After taking shower I put on a pair of black leggings, a simple white tee and slipping on a black pump I got out from the house. Specifically no place to go. So I just walked down the street and entered to the nearest park.
I walked by the shadowy street of the park and sat on a bench by the lake. The place and circumstances was so much tranquil that I immediately drown into my thoughts. I was barely looking the sight of lake though I was looking straight. I was so into my thoughts that I didn't notice a girl was sitting right beside me, God knows how long.
"Hello." She said sweetly and I smiled her back uttering a quiet 'Hi'
"Are you stressed or something?" She asked nonchalantly.
"No! ......Umm actually yes."
"Boyfriend problem?" She asked not looking at me. Who is this girl!
"Umm who are you?" I asked ignoring the question. Before she was getting so nosy, I've to know who was her.
"Well yeah! I'm Ema."
"Oh. Ashlynn."
"Ashlynn, I see. I can give you solution if you want about your problems." She said as if she knows me from a long time.
"Nothing much to share." I shrugged making clear that, I don't wanna discuss and she can go wherever she want.
"Obviously there's a lot to share. Don't worry I'm not going to tell anybody." She said looking at me for the very first time between our conversation.
I don't what just tooke over me on that moment, that I told her everything. Everything from the start, about how we fell for each other, how we got into fight several times and the current situation was so much blur to me.
"I think your boyfriend is not a cheat. I mean look what he had done for you, maximum boys barely do for their girls. You should give him a chance." Ema said glancing at me before threw a pebble to the lake.
"You think that?" I asked again as my heart started to pounding in my chest. Thinking that if that was true then what have I done to Harry was never forgivable.
"Yup." She nod plopping the 'p'.
"Well Ashlynn its really good to talk to you. But I should probably go or my mom won't let me in as she told me to brought some groceries." She smiled and stood up from the bench.
"Thank you so much for listening my unnecessary topics."
"No they're important. And I can say that everything will be alright." She said taking my hand in her and hugged me surprisingly.
"Wish you are right." I said tentatively hugging her back.
"See ya." She said and I nod my head before she waving off and off of the sight.
I stayed there few more minutes then returned home.
Entering the home I immediately felt my stomach growl as I remembered didn't eating since last evening. I walked to the kitchen and opened the fridge to find something. I grab two pieces of bacon and set it on the microwave. After looking at the floor for one minute apparently doing nothing as I waited for the microwave to stop.
