Chapter Sixteen

Y/N POV

I woke up the next morning I looked around and I seen gray. I kind of started to blush. Gray  was facing me and had his arms wrapped around me. I quietly snuck out of his arms and left the room and made breakfast. I made Bacon pancakes and made some for gray. After I ate I wrote a note to gray saying "went to Lucy's place. See you later." I than left his house and started walking to Lucy's apartment.

Time skip Lucy's apartment

I finally arrived at Lucy's apartment, I tried to open her door and it was locked so I broke in through the window. Lucy was still sleeping so I grabbed my bag and changed my clothes. I just wore denim shorts, a (f/c) tank top, and (f/c) converse, and I just fixed my hair into (whatever hair style). Then left Lucy's apartment and started walking toward the guild.

Time skip to the guild

I walked through the guild doors and walked over to the bar and Mira was there cause she's usually here early. "good morning Mira." "good morning y/n." we sat there until we heard levy come running into the guild. "good morning levy." both me and Mira said. Levy ran toward us and said "you guys need to come with me back to my place. I have something very important to tell you guys." me and Mira just looked at each other and nodded. We ran and followed levy to her house.

Time skip to Levy's house

We ran inside Levy's house and followed her to her library, she then turned around, looked at us, and said "do you know what season it is?" asked levy "umm spring?" "no. It's mating season!" "oh my god, so scary" I said sarcastically. "what about it?" asked Mira "during mating season a dragon slayer chooses their mate and mark them." "mark them?" "yes. They mark you by biting your neck. I don't think it's supposed to hurt. But you guys need to watch out especially you y/n." "what why me?" "well natsu  likes you but you don't, so this is his only chance to make you his." "ehh, who cares. I can avoid him for a while." I headed towards the door and asked Mira "hey Mira you coming?" "no y/n, I'm going to say here with levy. Can you work at the bar until I get back?" "yeah sure. See you guys later" "bye y/n." said levy and Mira as they smiled and waved. I walked out the door and started walking back, but before I got back I seen natsu. He was standing against the wall watching me. I continued to walk and act like I didn't see him, until his started walking towards me. I started walking faster but he eventually caught up. "hey y/n what you doing?" "I'm going to the guild, I have to do something" I said without looking at him. Things were just fine until natsu pinned me against the wall, I put my hands on his chest to attempt to push him away but he wouldn't budge. "you will be mine y/n" said natsu, then he started leaning in towards my neck while I was still trying to push him away but he still wouldn't move. "screw it!" I yelled. I ducked down and punched natsu in the stomach and ran away towards the guild. I turned around and natsu was on the ground holding his stomach.

Time skip back to the guild

I entered the guild and went behind the bar counter, I was drying off cups until Laxus came over and asked "hey you know where Mira is?" I was about to tell him but I forgot it was mating season so I lied. "I don't know  didn't see her this morning and because I'm a good friend I'm doing her job for her." "oh well let me know if you see her." he said as he walked upstairs. I continued to do what I was doing until Mira walked in and took over. I jumped back over the counter and sat down and I told Mira everything that happened even about what happened with natsu. "if I were you I would suggest you stay around me or gray because with how natsu is, he's probably going to keep on trying". I took her advice and stayed with her all day. We talked about stuff and I helped her a little bit with work. "well goodnight Mira" "goodnight y/n see you tomorrow" I walked out of the guild and went to gray's house, even though he went on a job he wouldn't mind me staying at his house tonight. I entered his house, went into the bathroom and changed into my pj's and went into the living room only to see a certain someone sitting on the couch.

HE GUYS I TRIED MY BEST TO DESCRIBE MATING SEASON EVEN THOUGH I DON'T KNOW THAT MUCH. BUT EVERY FAN FICTION I READ WITH A MATING SEASON THERE WAS ALWAYS SOMETHING WITH MARKING.
