Annoyed, that’s the word I’d use to define my current mood. I check my watch one more time, she’s late.
I started drumming my fingers against the table. Why the hell did she tell me she would arrive soon when she’s like fifteen minutes late?
“Would you like to have another drink, sir?” The waiter asked to me.
“No, I’m going to go. Bring the bill.”
When the waiter brought the bill I saw her run into the restaurant and I huffed, finally.
“I’m sorry; my piano lessons took me longer than I thought today.” She smiled apologetically and sat down.
I nodded and took a sip from my coke. Damn, she looked hot in the navy blue dress.
“Waiter!” I called.
The boy came and looked at us. “Oh, I guess I’ll take the bill away.” He smiled and pulled out a tiny notebook and a pen from the pocket of his white shirt. “What will you have?”
We ordered and he disappeared.
Well, let’s see what Miss Prude has to offer, I had to taste the waters. “You look absolutely flawless.”
She smirked and looked down, okay, she was shy. “Thank you.”
“No, thank you.” I said emphasizing the last word.
She laughed shyly.
The waiter brought our order and we started eating.
“What’s your name again, love?” I asked.
“Taylor.” She replied as she took the fork to her mouth.
“Such a beautiful name.” I praised.
“I’ve heard a lot of things about you.” She said.
“I can assure you all you’ve hear is true.” I boasted.
She raised an eyebrow. “So you’re the typical bad boy.”
I laughed. “We’re a cliché, look at us! The prude and the bad boy.”
Her jaw dropped, I pissed her off and that was what I wanted, I needed to know what her values were.
“Excuse me? You take me out on a date just to insult me?” She blinked a few times, shocked.
I smirked and she huffed. Shy and a little bit temperamental, I was sure that I’d have a great time annoying her.
“I don’t even know why I’m still here.” She paused and looked down at her plate. “Oh, yeah, free food.” She looked back at me, challenging me.
I smiled cheekily at her. “So you only want me because I give you free food? Ouch.” I pouted, making her smile.
“Nope, I don’t want you, I want the free food.” She continued smiling.
She was so challenging, I like that.
When we were finished eating I took her out for a walk in the streets of London. I spent almost all the money I had left in that goddamn dinner, I hope it was worth it.
The streets were busy; it was a typical Saturday night but not my typical Saturday night. I never really took girls out on dates, but this one was a challenge, what was her name by the way? Ugh, why did I keep forgetting it? I sighed and guided her into a club, it was crowded.
We sat on one of the couches and watched people dance.
“You know, um…I don’t really like clubs.” She said.
Of course you fucking don’t, I turned my face to a side and rolled my eyes then looked back at her.
“Really? Oh, we can go anywhere you want.” I smiled at her.
I grabbed her hand and helped her get up from the purple couch, then walked out of that club.
I was only doing this because she had something that made me feel attracted to her, after what happened with that Tomlinson guy and his parents and I talked to her next to that fountain I felt attracted to her, she was challenging and was playing hard to get with me. Not that I wanted to take things further with her, but a little fun never killed nobody, right?
She was taking me to a place that she was so secretive about.
“You aren’t taking me to a church, are you?” I teased her.
She rolled her eyes. “Can you just shut up and follow me?”
I smiled and held her hand again. Wow, wow, wow. Rewind and pause, what was that feeling? Electricity? I shook my head and looked down at her, she was concentrated looking at the people walking right in front of us.
They were an elder couple, the man had his arm around his wife’s shoulders and she had her arm around his waist, it was a weird sight, why was she staring at them like a stalker?
We finally arrived to a place full of plants and trees and some white benches, it looked like we got inside one of those cheesy fairytales full of flowers and sparkles flying around us and shit.
She leaded me inside some kind of balcony, we had to walk through some kind of tunnel full of plants and flowers before getting there but it was worth it.
You could see the whole city from there, it was beautiful.
“Did you enjoy the date?” I asked looking down at her.
“Well, your sense of humour is quite weird and rude but, nevertheless, I had fun.” She said smiling at me.
I smiled back at her and looked at the city again; I really enjoyed the date, to be honest.
