I decided to take a stroll along the beach in the afternoon. It was rather a fair day. A gentle breeze swayed the branches and leaves. After removing my sandals, I played with the sand, relishing the feel of it in my bare feet. Walking along the line wherein  the sea meets the shore, I felt the tiny waves rush, crash and tumble back to the seabed. Overhead some birds are flying in flocks, while some chose to perch upon the branches and sing their melodies. The setting somehow gave me sense of calmness

"Hi Alexandria!"

I spun around, surprised to hear someone call out my name. No way! It was the same guy from this morning and last night.

"Go away" I tried to sound indifferent and thus drive him away.

"What?"

"I said please just go away"

"Oh... ahm Alexandria... I'm sorry I think we got off on the wrong foot. I came to make peace with you. And if you're wondering how I know your name, I begged one of the front-desk officer. Please don't get angry at the resort staff. I was very persistent and convincing, that's why they ended up giving it to me.  I really just wanted to know your name so I could start making amends. Peace?"

He then stretched out his hands toward me. I stared at it then looked at his face quizzically. He looked sincere enough.

"Don't leave me hanging here..." he smiled sheepishly.

At that instant, I was able to study his features. He wasn't bad looking. Actually he had an attractive face, his slightly tousled hair,  deep set eyes, angular jaws, and "owen-wilson" nose perfectly fitted in his robust, well-toned body. He also had pinkish sun-tanned skin  that seems to indicate that he had recently been spending most of his time out doors.

"Ehem..."

I turned to look towards the opposite direction. What was I doing scrutinizing him?

"Never mind. Let's forget about it."

"Really? Great! So we're cool?"

"I got to go..." I started to walk away.

"Oops... not so fast." He rushed to block my path.

I was starting to get annoyed with him again.

"Look I have no time for this. Get out of my way."

"Come on Alexandria... You can't leave yet. By the way can I call you Alex?"

I stared blankly at him.

"No? Ahm... Andy? Ria? your name's quite long you know. Anyway please don't go yet. I mean surely you're not going to let me off the hook that easily. Especially after those scratches from your arms last night and your soiled dress from this morning."

Well what do you know. He did remember bumping me last night.

"It's done... Don't bother yourself about it. You don't need to do anything. Oh second thought... you can do something. Stay away and leave me be."

"Ouch... that's stingy"

I sighed  with exasperation then tried to move past him.

"Come with me just this once and I won't bother you again."

I continued walking a few steps. He caught up with me. This guy can really be insistent.

"You know, I could tag along the rest of the afternoon wherever you are planning to go. Or perhaps I could drop by for breakfast tomorrow? Or you'd rather have a dinner date with me?"

Unbelievable this guy was really not going to leave me alone. I stopped and face him squarely.

"Alright. If I go with you, will you really leave me alone?"

"Yes ma'am! You won't ever see me again after." He winked and smiled and much to my surprise , I felt a bit elated.

Could I trust this guy? Can I really get rid of him by going with him? Wait. What did he have in mind? Where were we going anyway?

He must have seen a wary look on my face coz he laugh and said, "Don't worry. I'm harmless. We're in broad daylight and there's going to be alot of people to where we are going."

"So where are you indeed taking me?"

"COME AND SEE"
