Today is the day when I attempt to apply for a job at the freak show. I could help quite exponentially. So when I drove there, I was greeted by a strange man, with his fingers stuck together, he looks to have electrodactyly. He was a rather attractive man. "What's a beautiful regular such as yourself doing here?"

"I'm here for a job. May I apply?" I said.

"What's your name?"

"(Y/N). And you?" I sounded cold as usual. He didn't seem to take offense though.

He put out his hand, waiting for me to shake it. When I grabbed his hand, a life time of sorrow flowed through my mind. I seen his life flash before my eyes. I immediately let go and put my hands of my temples, crouching over as if I was going to vomit. "Are you okay?!" He spouted.

" I'm fine. My abilities give me power but it comes with consequences. I just get a bit light headed or nauseous." I grabbed black, leather gloves and put them on. "I didn't think I would need these today." A very minuscule smile curled my lips.

"What are they for?" He questioned.

"So I can touch people and not see their life. May I see your owner? I would like to apply for a job here."

"You have made a mistake. You're not a freak, miss."

"I'm a fortune teller. I can give you your past, and future. I can also tell you what you're thinking."

"I don't think we have room here. We already have one, but I would be delighted to take you to her." He looked me in the eyes and smiled as he brought me to a rather large tent, largest in the area. Jimmy opened the tent to an oldish lady smoking a cigarette. "Madame Elsa."

A smile came across her face. "Hello, mein liebe. What are you visiting me for today?" Her smile faded as I walked though the door.

"We have someone here who would like a job here as a psychic." Jimmy Spoke.

"Nien, nien we already have one." She looked at me with distaste.

I looked at Jimmy and asked him to leave, and he did. "May I at least prove it to you, madame." I looked determined to get the job.

"Fine." She said.

I took off my gloves and asked for her hand. When i touched it, a wave of sin flowed though me. Her past was terrible, it was dark and just terrible, but her future is proving her that she deserved it. She was heartless and didnt mind killing to get her way. Although, she hasnt done it yet. She will not know because I will not tell her the negative in her future. I need this job ever so much.

"I see pain in your past and regret in your future." I say.

"Be more specific." She said harshly. "I heard this bit before. Tell me about my past."

"Alright." I grabbed her hand again and seen her darkest hours. "You were involved in darkness meaning a brothel, seeing men of all kinds, mostly German. "Although you were different. You were a sadist and you never let them touch you. You hardly touch them either. They were your puppets and you were the marionette. Until one day, men came in and drugged you, chained you to a bed and cut off your legs. Snuff films, they called them. It spread around to Belgium, Switzerland, and Vienna." She was stunned. "Would you like me to continue?" I asked as her head nodded in disbelief. "Before hitlers time, You were apart of the gypsy girls in another circus act. Your English wasn't good at that time. You had to be a chorus girl behind what you call 'lesser talents' until you shoved one of the singers and broke her leg. You like to be in charge of things, so you didn't like that place. You decided to create your own collection of 'oddities', as you call them. You collected them and created your own freak show." I smiled as her mouth dropped. "I can also show you other people's memories through my body. Care to see?"

She shook her head. I asked Jimmy to come in. I told him that I was going to show Madame Elsa some of his memories, only certain happy ones and I'll show him some of her memories. He agreed.

I grabbed both of their hands and almost instantly their memories transported to one another. Luckily, I have enough control to only show them their best moments.

When I let go, My energy ran out. I fainted.

When I awoke, it was in a cute little tent, Jimmy setting up things for me. "Thank you, Jimmy." I said with a straight face.

"Why don't you smile?" He said while setting up a dresser.

"I prefer not to disclose." I say without emotions.

"You're the cold, in sharing type? I'll crack you open soon enough." He said with a smile as he set up more of the things they bought me.

"You don't have to do that. I can do it myself." I said slowly standing up, I felt a bit light headed but I don't like people helping me. It is a sign of weakness.

"Let me help." He begged.

"Alright." I got up and unpack the boxes of things. "Who bought these and why?" I questioned.

"We all chipped in and bought you stuff since you're our new member."

"I'm the new member here?" I questioned.

"Madame Elsa, think you are real. The real thing. And I do too! It's amazing the powers you hold."

"It depends on your perception." I felt a bit light headed and nearly fell until I caught myself.

"Are you alright?!" He questioned.

"Yes. I'm fine." I said.

"How often does this happen?"

"More often than sometimes." I paused. "After I use a large amount of power."

We were about finished when he told me that if he needed anything, I could come to his tent. And he told me to smile more. I just shook my head And said okay.
