·Killua's P.O.V·

We went to tons of stores, buying food and stuff. I wanted to buy Choco-robo-kun, but Gon seemed to object. He went on about how I'd get sick and stuff, but I could care less.

"Don't go wasting your money again, Killua." Gon told me on our way to the fair.

"What's so wrong about spending all my money on chocolate?" I objected. "It's innocent!"

"Yea right." Gon said, laughing softly.

"It's true! What, do you think I'll get diabetes?"

"If you keep selling out the store supply, yes."

"Well, I can do what I wa--" I said, being cut off by Gon stopping. I stopped as well. "Gon?"

I realized Gon was starring at a man, who was staring at me. He was tall, and had long black hair.

...and I mean long. Seriously, if it weren't for his face, I'd think he were a woman.

His.. lifeless.. and familiar face.

"Gon, who is that?" I asked. "He's so familiar..."

"Killua, ignore him." Gon replied. "You probably saw him on the street or something."

"But--" I said, getting cut off by Gon grabbing my wrist and walking away with me.

"Ignore that freak!" Gon said. Why was he getting so mad?

I turned back to the man. He seemed annoyed. I was scared, honestly. He looked like he wanted to run over to us, and attack.

Maybe even kidnap. Just by the look he gave me.

My stomach twisted as he grew further and further. But he also grew more familiar and familiar.

Some part of me wanted to let go of Gon, and go to him. But the other part of me wanted Gon to go faster.

I couldn't move. I couldn't speak. I couldn't breathe.

'What's happening to me?!' I asked myself. Gon looked back at me as he was walking, and noticed I was still looking at the guy.

"Killua! Let's get tickets for the fair!" Gon said, changing the subject.

I nodded, looking away from the guy. 'Think nothing of it, Killua.' I told myself, gaining my senses.

Me and Gon went to the gate to get our tickets, but I couldn't get the guy out of my head.

·Gon's P.O.V·

Killua has always been curious. Almost as curious as I am.

I wonder what goes on in his brain. When he's sad. When he's happy. When he's plain peaceful.

He never tells me about what happens in his head.

He's like a mystery. Kinda like Ging is.

If I had to say which was a bigger mystery, Killua or Ging, I'd probably get a cooked brain.

Cause how could I decide?

When Mito told me she wouldn't come with us to the fair, I knew Illumi would go after Killua.

I'm not a hunter yet, so I can't exactly protect him too well. But Mito wasn't any stronger than I ever was.

If Killua finds out Illumi is his real brother, I'm toast.

No kidding, he'd throw me in a toaster.

I'd always worried about his strength. I mean, we're basically equal. But I've trained, and he hasn't.

Isn't he the least bit suspicious?

I occasionally grow guilty about taking him away from his family.

But when me and Mito first saw him, he was only about 2 years old. He sat alone, with scars running down his back, breathing heavily. Me and Mito took him home, only days later we came to realize who he truly was.

We had kidnapped a Zoldyck.

That terrifying feeling... knowing at any second any Zoldyck could snatch him back. I still don't understand why they haven't yet.

Anyways, after first spotting Illumi, Killua was frozen. I knew if he stayed there any longer, he'd recognize him. So I dragged him away.

Killua can't know yet.

He'll thank me one day.
