·Killua's P.O.V·

I layed lazily in my bed, staring at the ceiling.

'Maybe I should buy tons of chocolate,' I thought to myself. 'I wonder if I have enough money to buy every single chocolate bar. Maybe I could steal Gon's money, even. He's gotta have... uh... 3 dollars? I can hope.'

In case you can't tell, I think strangely when it comes to mornings.

I turned to Gon, who layed on the other bed in out shared room. He was facing the other way, probably still asleep.

'I'm totally doing it.' I told myself. I crept silently to Gon's side of the room, until...

*creek*

I stepped on the squeaky part of the floor. Gon turned to me.

'Looks like he wasn't asleep after all.'

"Killua," He said, sitting up. "What are you doing? I've told you before. You can't snoop through my stuff."

I always wondered what secrets he was keeping from me on that side of the room.

"I wasn't snooping, I swear. I was just trying to steal your wallet--" I stopped myself in mid sentence.

'Why would I tell him that?!" I mentally scolded myself.

Gon stood up and walked to where I was.

"Don't waste your money, Killua. How many times do I need to tell you? More importantly, don't waste mine. I have things to buy, you know."

"Yea, yea. Can I have your wallet or not?" I asked. Gon rolled his eyes.

"I need to bring it to the fair. You didn't forget about the fair, did you?"

"F-Fair? When's the fair?" I asked.

"Today, silly!" Gon replied. "Who knows, maybe this year you might win something!" He smiled. With a smile like that, how could I say no?

"Okay, okay. We'll see." I smiled back at him.

"Race ya downstairs!" Gon yelled suddenly, darting out the door. I laughed.

"No fair!" I yelled, running after him. As I run out the door, I stop.

Gon is nowhere to be seen.

'Is he okay? Did he really run that fast, or did he just have to run elsewhere?'

Suddenly, in the middle of my worrying...

"Boo!"

"Gah!" I yelled, turning around. Surely enough, Gon was behind me.

"Bakka!" I yelled. He just giggled.

"At least I can beat you now!" I added, running down the stairs. Gon scoffed and ran after me. Surely enough, I beat him to the kitchen.

"Ohayo, boys," Mito said as me and Gon sat at the table.

"Hi, Mito." Gon said, while smirking at me. He muttered something like, 'So savage' under his breath playfully.

"Are you boys ready for the fair?" She asked. Gon bit into a piece of toast and nodded.

"I won't be there with you two this year. Will you guys be okay?" She asked. She was talking to the both of us, but oddly enough, she was looking directly at Gon. It was as if I couldn't take care of myself in her eyes.

'Just because I love chocolate doesn't mean you've gotta be a hater.' I thought, but didn't say. Gon looked at me, but I only smiled.

"I think we'll be fine, Mito." Gon said, smiling back at me. I put a small bit of my breakfast into my mouth.

"Who knows, maybe Ging will meet us there!" Gon added. Mito sighed.

"Just don't get your hopes up," She stated. "anyways, you two should get going. The earlier ones get the best prizes!"

"How does that work?" I asked.

"Well, people tend to win the best prizes first. If we get there early, we might have a chance to win something big!" Gon explained. I nodded.

"The fair starts at noon. Before then, you two should go to the market and buy some stuff for yourselves. I'll provide you...." she said, checking her wallet. "200 jenny each."

"Yea, yea, money. It's already 10:30!" Gon objected. "Give us the money and let us free!"

Mito laughed. "Okay, okay." She handed us the money.

"Arigato!" Gon said, and raised from his chair. He pulled me to a standing position, resulting in me laughing.

"We'll be back by.. uh... Well, we'll be back by next week!" I noted, completely unsure of when we'd come back.

Me and Gon ran out the door, on our way to the stores.
