I could feel the cold skin on my body start to melt into a warm sensation. I couldn't breath as well as I always do. I woke up all of a sudden. It was pitch black. I was defiantly not in my room.
" Hello? " My voice echoed back to me. Insects were all over the place. It felt like I was in this small little house. No smaller than a portypotty, nor any bigger than a 12 years olds bedroom.
I can hear movement coming from outside the small little cabin/house/shed.
" Who's in there? " a soft but hoarse voice questioned. I flinched. I was curious, but scared at the same time.
The door of this small shed opened. A young man's face appeared at the entrance of the shed.
The young man looked about my age, but really mature.
" I said, who are you? " the boy said again politely.
" I- I'm Star. Star Dylan Cosmos. I'm sorry if I mean any trouble to yo- " I was going to finish, but he had cut me off.
" Do I really look like a villain to you? Do you think that I'm going to lock you up in the dungeon, just because you were stuck in there? "
He said looking a little offended.
" N- no sir. " I was stuttering.
" Oh, I'm sorry if I'm making you feel bad. " he said making a sad face.               " Here, let me help you. "
He took my hand and let me out of the shed. Thank God. " Thank you sir. " I said with a half smile on my face.
I started to walk away. Until I heard my name.
" Hey Ms. Star. One more thing. The name's Jack. " He winked at me and started to walk away.
I blushed a little. I felt queasy inside. Was this that feeling when you have a crush on someone? It was.
I tried to ignore it. I have just notice that the town looked ...... Different.
Instead of streets there were sand. Instead of corner stores there were gun shops. Instead of dogs and cats there were horses and bulls.
I even noticed that I was not wearing the same clothing I had on. Now I'm wearing a leather brown jacket that a badge on it, lose brown pants that is ripped on the bottem, black cowboy boots, a golden locket, and a chain that goes over my forehead.
The badge said " Sharif Cosmos " . I know for a fact that I don't have any of these cloths in my closet.
I kept on walking. I made my way to a restaurant named " My Texas Bride " When I had walked in, everyone in the restaurant were looking straight at me with wide eyes.
I laughed nervously. Why were that staring. I sat at an empty booth. A elderly man came up to me and asked " Are you Ms. Cosmos? " I nodded slowly. " Oh my Manitou!!!! " The guys yelled.
" You mean Oh my God? Or goodness? " I ask. Not being rude but I never heard someone use that reference.
" Oh, is that what you want me to say ? " he asked.
" N- " he had cut me off.
" I'll say it if you do, my Goddess. " The man had bowed down his head. I pulled him back up.
"No, no. There's no need to bow. Uh, can I ask you something? " I asked the odd man.
" Anything! " he replied back.
" Well 1: why are you calling me " Goddess? "
" Well, that's because your the Mayor's daughter. And your also the town's Sheriff. " He said bowing down again.
I picked him back up. " Nooo, you don't need to bow for m- " Before I could finish my sentence, everyone in the restaurant was bowing for me. " Uh, haha. Well, I got to go. I need to.....uh, water my cactus. " I ran out of the restaurant. That was.... interesting.
