I heard her screaming and I almost fainted. When I bust open the door, I saw a knife on her night stand. The boy grabbed it and stabbed her right in her stomach. She screamed in agony as the knife stuck her and in pain as it was removed. The boy tried to run, but I was too fast for him. I grabbed him from behind and slammed him to the floor. When I found put who it was, I knew I could never trust that person again. It was Sean...
"Nigga what the fuck are you doing?! Are you fucking crazy?!" I screamed
He didn't say a word. I punched him so hard that he didn't wake up until the cops came. I ran to my baby's side. I needed to know that she was OK before I lost my mind.
"Baby..Baby...look at me OK? Everything is going to be alright."
She closed her eyes but I made her keep them open. I wasn't about to let some fool take her away because he wanted smash one good time. Not on my watch.
*My P.O.V*
I woke up in a white room with bandages around my stomach. I was in the hospital and I felt a sharp pain in my side. I looked around to see if anyone was there and it turn out Marcus was right by my side. He woke up when I saw him.
"Hey baby." he greeted
"What am I doing here?" I asked
"You got stabbed by that son of a bitch Sean last night remember?"
"Oh shit...yea I remember. My side hurts so bad."
"I know but don't move too much the doctor said it could get worse, but if you need anything I can call them for you."
"Nah its OK as long as your here that's all I need right now."
He kissed me and fell back to sleep.
After about 2 weeks I was let from the hospital. Marcus drove me home. My parents were still out of town for the rest of the month so he promised to stay with me in case something else went down.
"Wanna watch a movie?" he asked
"Sure since we cant get dirty until my next check up." I laughed
We stayed and watched movies and reality shows all night. We didn't eat much. Just some popcorn and a few sandwiches. I felt there was something about him that I just could not let go. No other guys that I dated would ever do something that extreme. If so, they didn't seem like it much. But he is a good guy overall and he seems pretty serious about all the decisions he makes and I like it. I trust him.
