Mia PoV:

I was so glad to find that there was only 10 minutes left of the school day. I just wanted to cuddle up on the sofa with my mum and watch YouTube videos, watching my favourite vloggers always takes my mind off things. Mum can't do much with her illness so I cook the dinner and look after my little brother because Dad gets home from work late at night.

I wasn't really paying attention to the teacher until he said "I'm setting you a project for homework, everyone find a partner." I scanned the room, searching for someone half decent to go with. Lauren wasn't in this class with me so I couldn't even be with her. I was too late, all my classmates had a partner. Except for one. I looked to my left. Bradley Will Simpson.

Could I ever get away from him? I'd rather go with the teacher than him but I had no choice. It got even worse when I realised this means I have to spend time outside of school with him. He was so gorgeous but so mean at the same time. "So..." he said, staring at the floor, refusing to look me in the eye. "Can I have your number?

Wow! This new girl has some nerve. She strolls in late and gets to sit next to Brad! She's not even pretty,well not compared to me anyway. I'll have to keep my eye on her and keep her away from my man,no matter what it takes.
Brad doesn't know it yet but obviously we will be together by the time we leave school. Who would reject me,after all? I'm the most popular girl in school!

Brads p.o.v
This lesson was so awkward. Mia and I didn't speak at all,and all we dd was discreetly glance at each other while either of us wasn't looking. I feel so bad for what happened at break! She wasn't paying attention to the lesson. I could tell because she was continuously drawing Arctic monkey doodles on her left hand (she obviously didn't know that Arctic monkeys were my favourite band).
"And I will be assigning you projects,find a partner" I heard the teacher say. Mia immediately began to pay attention and sighed when she realised I was the only person without a partner. Was I really that bad? I could see Allison grimace from the other side of the room as we joined as a pair. She's such a bitch! I could never be with someone like her,but Mia on the other hand. She was so gorgeous but I would have no chance with her after what happened at lunch. Well,it's worth a shot!
"Can I have your number?" I asked as my cheeks flushed red. She stared at me showing no expression.
"You know,just to arrange after school studies?".
She gave a small smile before dialling we number into my phone and saving it to my contacts.
"Thanks" I said,more enthusiastically than I intended,as she left the room to go home.
