Preference #1, what you are and your power

Warnings: none

~ Pietro/Peter Maximoff - Quicksilver
You're a mutant, and a powerful one at that! You have the power to control elements, fire, water, air and Earth all bend to your will, this resulted in you having a few burns and scars on your arms from mistakes when you first got your powers but Peter loves you all the same!

~ Kurt Wagner - Nightcrawler
You're also a mutant, your different coloured skin (red rather than blue) is what attracted Kurt's attention in the first place, this and your ability to create multiple copies of yourself intrigued and impressed him, he had to know more about you!

~ (young) Charles Xavier - Professor X
You were also a mutant, even though your powers didn't come in until after you met Charles, it was rather useful to you to know him before hand, he helped you come to terms with your invisibility and helped you to learn to control your newfound mutation

~ (young) Erik Lehnsherr - Magneto
You were a human, but that was what attracted him to you, after he'd lost so much in the mutant world he wanted a normal(ish) life with you, and loved that you could accept him for who he was!

~ Hank McCoy - Beast
You were also a human, and the first one he had met who hadn't looked at him funny for being a mutant and treated him equally to everyone else, he loved you for that.

~ Scott Summers - Cyclops
You're a mutant, one who, quite usefully for him, could control other mutants powers, increase or decrease them for a period of time, because of you he could see the world through his old eyes, at least for a little while, and he was so happy to finallyh see you without glasses in the way.

~ Alex Summers - Havok
You were a human, you may not have had some amazing power to impress him but he loved your carefree, fun attitude to life and the fact that although he tried, you refused to be scared of him, you reminded him of home and a time when his life was simpler.

~ Bobby Drake - Iceman
You were a mutant, and your heat powers directly opposed his ice ones. You had the power to control heat, and with it fire (if you concentrated hard enough), you were intrigued by his opposite powers and he by yours.

~ Ororo Munroe - Storm
You were also a human, something she was grateful for, you grew up fascinated with weather and storms in particular, so when you met her it was like a dream, but you soon came to turns with her mutation and she loved how interested you were in her powers, it was so different from the fear she normally encountered.
~ Jean Grey
You were a mutant as well as her, it wasn't easy for you to come to terms with your powers and so you both bonded over that, your superhuman senses meant you heard her whenever she was in trouble, even from the other side of the X mansion, and she was always grateful for your arrival.

~ Rogue
You were also a mutant, although your night vision may not have been too powerful or dangerous you still attended the Professor's school as your powers meant you suffered vivid night visions, and the professor offered to help you with that, Rogue loved that you struggled as well and you two bonded over your rocky roads to coming to terms with your powers.

~ Raven - Mystique
You too were a mutant, studying at Charles' school had helped you come to terms with your empathy, feeling others, and controlling others emotions, and although you hated manipulating others feelings, it was very useful when you could calm Raven down quickly when she needed it!

A/N: hope this is okay? It's my first preference I've ever written but I hope it's not too bad! Sorry for any mistakes as it was written on my phone! Hope you like it x
