Sarah's POV

I was walking around my new neighborhood, My family had got a new house since I had missed my best friend. I ended up at a park and I was lost in my thoughts that I bumped into someone and my reflexes kicked in and I grabbed them by their waist to stop them from falling. They went to see who I was and to say the least I was shocked and I think she was too. It was Lindsay, my best friend before I had to move to Oklahoma. After I got out of my thoughts I realized I still had my arm around her waist and I really didn't want to move it but Lindsay and I need to talk and catch up with each other about what went on with our lives. Lindsay and I walk towards the swings and just talk about everything we wanted to talk about. She asked me questions but one question that I didn't know how to answer was about my ex boyfriend, Michael. I didn't know how to tell her that I broke up with him a few days after I last texted Lindsay. I also haven't texted her for a while because I was trying not to slip up and say that I have a major crush on her so I just cut contact with her. Before I moved and before I even started dating Michael I seen on Facebook that Lindsay was dating this girl from the pictures she posted and it broke my heart and I couldn't stand it so thats why I decided to start dating Michael he told me one day that he liked me but i brushed it off but then after seeing those pictures i texted him and we started dating. Lindsay never left my mind even when I was around Michael but he never noticed since I hid it very well. One night I was just in my room doing homework I got message from Facebook it was from Lindsay well I thought it was but it was her girlfriend I think she was just trying to be nice since me and her girlfriend were friends hell we even considered ourselves sisters but my feelings were way more than that not that I'd say anything. A few days later Lindsay texted me asking me about Michael and I lied to her that he was treating me like a princess which he was but I didn't like him as much as I liked Lindsay and she said she was happy for me like a true friend would, when I asked her about her girlfriend she told me that they broke up something about her cheating on her with a guy for the second time. I felt bad for her but she said she didn't want to talk about it so I dropped it and she never texted back after that. Then I broke up with Michael and begged my parents to move back here. "Sarah" I heard which brought me out of my thoughts. I smiled at how concerned Lindsay looked I wonder how long she was trying to get my attention, I looked at the time and it was almost 9 o'clock. Lindsay and I had to leave but we exchanged numbers to catch up with each other since I decided to cut contact off with her.
