chapter 7

RAY'S POV***

i went in to Krystals room, she was laying on the bed, looking sleepy and scared. I went over to her and sat down in the chair beside her bed. 

"what are the Doctors saying?" i asked

"they said that I should stay home from school for a while so my body can relax and recover, but I don't have anywhere to stay. I probably have to go to a orphanage or foster home..." she said as she started tearing up. 

I took a hold of her hand to try and make her feel more comfortable. 

"hey, why don't you just live with me? I know it might be weird for you, but I know you have trust issues. I don't know why, but for some reason I feel like you tust me" I said. Honestly I hope that she will live with me. I don't want her moving away.

" I don't want to be a burden to you tho" she said, is she crazy?! I really want her in my house. To be compleatly honest, I think I'm falling for her. I'm not that much older than her. I really hope she is feeling the same way, but now is not the time to bring it up. I won't bring it up if she is not showing any signs later on. 

KRYSTAL POV***

It's so nice that Ray is offering to let me stay at his house, but I don't want to be a burden to him. And also if he brings home girls I don't want to know. YES, I would be jealous. I think I'm starting to develop feelings for him, but at the same time I don't want to move away from him.

I looked up at Ray and he was staring at me, looking directly into my eyes.

"you won't be a burden, I like having you around. It's not the same as having any other 18 year old around. You seem alot more mature than all the other kids at school." 

"It's just because I've had to go through so much on my own" I said, thinking back to all the horrible memories I  have from my childhood. 

"hey, don't look back at those memories. We can make new and fun memories. Those days are over, I promise. 

I just nodded.

"so what do you say? Do you want to move in? I promise you are NOT a burden to me!" 

I just nodded again, once I nodded Ray got up and hugged me a little to tight, i winched in pain.

"OMG! I'm so sorry, I forgot" 

i just shook my head "it's ok, don't worry"

RAY POV***

 I signed Krystal out of the hospital and once we got home, I got my lawyer on the phone to figure out how we could deal with her living here and me being her teacher. Thankfully my mom said she could be her guardian until she turns 18. She is going to be living with me because she is for some odd reason (not complaining) comfortable with me and it seems like she trusts me.
