Skylars POV
Grayson and I walked hand in hand at the place our reception was being held. Once we came in, everyone cheered. I smiles brightly and greeted them with Grayson by my side. My closest family and friends were here with Graysons closest family and friends. I felt like the happiest girl ever."Skylar, my beautiful granddaughter. I'm so happy." Nana exclaimed with teary eyes and hugged me tight.
I laughed and hugged her. About an hour or so of greeting guests, I found Ethan and Maria with their son, Ben, sitting at a table with my girls, Hayes and Lia. I walked over to them while Grayson went to talk to his friends and family.
"Hey!" I cheered.
They looked up at me and exclaimed before hugging me.
"Mama." Bella said reaching up to me.
"Uh." Elizabeth grunted.
I laughed and picked both of them up. Ben was looking up at me and stuffed his fingers in his mouth. I laughed handed Lia and Hayes my girls.
"Can the bride and groom please come to the dance floor for the annual first dance." The dj said.
Grayson walked up to me and took my hand in his as we walked to the middle of the dance floor. Can't Help Falling In Love by Elvis Presley came on the speakers. Everyone was quiet as they watched us sway. My arms were around Graysons neck while his were around my waist. I kissed him under his chin and giggled when he kissed my nose.
"But I can't help falling in love with you." I softly sang in his ear.
I stroked the hairs at the back of his neck. Grayson pulled away and twirled me around making me laugh.
"I love you so much and I'm glad you're mine." He whispered in my ear.
"I love you more." I whispered and gently kissed him.
When the song ended, people cheered. Grayson and I went to sit at the top where the bride and groom sit with their bridesmaids and groomsmen. Ethan stood up and clinked his fork against the champagne glass. Graysons arm was around my shoulder as we looked up at Ethan.
"Um, first I'd like to say that I'm the best man for my little brother Grayson. And um..I never thought I'd see this day until now. Usually, the oldest does everything first. Grayson would follow my footsteps when we were yonuger. He always wanted to do what I did. And look at how that came out." He said making the crowd laugh.
"I never thought I'd see both of my bestfriends marrying eachother. I remember a pact that Grayson and Skylar made and she said 'If we're both not married by the time we're fourty, we'll marry eachother'. Now here I am, speaking on their wedding day. I'm happy to call Skylar my sister in law. And I'm happy to see Grayson finally find someone he'll spend his life with. To Skylar and Grayson." Ethan said.
Everyone awed and repeated 'to Skylar and Grayson'. Maria then stood up holding her champagne.
"The first day I met Skylar was probably the worst and best day of my life. Who knew the girl crying in the bathroom would be my bestfriend today. Now, the first day I met Grayson, I wanted to kill him." She said making me laugh.
"I remember she came up to me and said 'Maria, I think I'm in love.' I knew both of them were in love from the way they looked at eachother. Grayson would look at Skylar as if she was a bag of diamonds. I'm honored to be her maid of honor because Skylar is the closest thing I have to a sister. To Skylar and Grayson." Maria said.
I hugged her and wiped the corner of my eyes with had tiny tear droplets. I turned to Grayson and smiled brightly at him. He leaned closer to me and kissed me gently. After dinner, it was cake cutting time. Grayson stood behind me with his hand ontop of mine. I took a piece of it and went to feed but instead I put it all over his nose and mouth. People laughed and took pictures. Grayson did the same making me laugh loudly.
One everyone got their cake, I sat in my spot and fed Elizabeth while Grayson fed Bella. They both gurgled making me laugh. I looked over at Grayson to see him looking back at me with a dimpled smile.
"I love you." He said.
"I love you, too." I said.
