Mina is my name. I'm a senior in high school, captain of the tennis club, and soon big sister to a little sister. At the moment my life is pretty busy with school and life, but I'm able to balance it all. I never thought my life could get anymore crazier but it did. Lets start from the beginning.

"I'm so going to it tonight. How about you Mina?" My friend Daeun asked. I looked over at her and my two other friends Hyemi and Sungmi. They were all waiting for my answer to a question I didn't even hear.

"Sorry, what did you ask?" I asked. Hyemi reached down and grabbed her apple taking a huge bite of it waiting for Daeun to repeat her question.

"If you would like to come with us tonight?" Daeun repeated again.

"To where?" I asked grabbing my drink.

"To the new club that open downtown." Daeun said.

"And I hear it's freaking awesome." Daeun also added.

"We could even get free drinks." Hyemi also added. She got looks from all us telling her that might not be true. She looked down and took another bite from her apple looking disappointed.

"I don't know. Clubs really aren't my thing." I said.

"But us three are going there." Daeun whined. My first thought was Sungmi.

"Are you really going?" I asked her raising a eyebrow.

"Yeah. If my little sister Hyemi is going I might as well, plus it might be good for me to get out a little. I just realized this morning I've read over a hundred books in just this month. Going dancing actually sounds pretty fun." She said sitting her one hundredth and one book down.

The one thing I love about Daeun, Sungmi, and Hymi is that we are all different. Sungmi is the oldest and more responsible then all us. She's also really smart as she always has her face in a book.

Daeun is always doing her track and working at a nearby café. And even if she is still in high school she's already being talked about going to the Olympics next year.

Then we have Hyemi. Hyemi is well, Hyemi. She's is literally one of a kind. She's always bubbly and cheerful but then sometimes can be blank and boring. It's like a switch just flicks on and off in her head.

And then there is me. Me, well I believe I'm the only normal one here. My grades aren't high like Sungmi. Even if I'm caption of the teenis club I'm nowhere near being as amazing as Daeun in sports. And I'm not always bubbly and cheerful like Hyemi. I'm just me. Just boring old Mina. Nothing really special with me, unlike my friends.

"I guess if Sungmi is going I'll go." I said.

"Yeah! Then all four of us are going!" Hyemi said jumping up out of her seat getting stares from all the other people in our school. I took one last bite of my soup before I heard the lunch bell, telling us lunch was over.

"Alright then I'll come and pick you up around seven, okay." Daeun said grabbing her tray.

"Alright. See you then." I said walking my way. Sadly to say none of us have classes together anymore. The high school we attend is one of the biggest in all of South Korea and therefor has the most students. I believe there is around nine hundred that attend this school. It seems pretty crazy, but I really like it here. The teachers are really nice, and the school lunch isn't horrible. It's eatable.

Still doesn't mean I like studying and I swear sometimes I feel like these test are trying to kill us, not make us smarter. After taking my last class and a horrible test that I forgot to study for, school was over. Well that is for today, I still have to wake up Monday morning and attend, but at least I have the weekends off.
