Chapter One: Angel's Scream
The door creaked open as a man stepped into the room. His army uniform turn and tattered across his body, medals and badges forgotten and worn. His big boots were muddy from the long trek. Angel stood frozen in fear in front of the class-her eyes wide and locked on the 45 machine gun in his hand. Students screamed. Fear started to overrun her shock, racking her body into shivers. Her breaths came in rapid gasp as she started to hyperventilate.
"There you are my sweets. Ready to come with big daddy?" asked the man. The man took a step toward Angel. She screamed, her voice breaking into a high pitched scream, with enough force to dent metal. The students in the class had migrated to the back corner of the room. They now crouched over in a fetal position holding their ears in pain. All well except for the man.
"Yes, yes give me more,' he laughed. "You are just as powerful as your mother when she was young,"
Creo came up behind Angel, pulling her into her arms. "Calm down Angel, calm down," she crooned. The room quieted. Angel collapsed into Creo's arms. She was quickly carried back toward the of the students. Okami and Holo exchanged glances and nodded. Okami slipped on some gloves and charged toward the man, punching and kicking, using all of her training then and now.
Why is nothing working? she thought as she kicked him. On each impact, shock seemed to run up her leg. Holo called encouragement as she noticed Okami losing energy. The man laughed. "Good, good, give me everything you've got but first let me make this a little more exciting," he said with a smirk on his face.
He slowly raised his gun at Okami preparing to shoot. Suddenly a force came and knocked Okami bakcwards sending her to the wall, skinning her arms and legs in the process. Fire began to rain from the ceiling and creaped through the floor and walls. The man's screams came up from the flames, not of pain nut pleasure. He's a masochist get it.
"Ah you have come at last my ewel butnot today. Big Daddy will come back for you and your little ones later," Laughter lifted from the flames fading. The fire extinguished just as quickly as it came. On the florr there was no remnents of the man that had stood there but of charred metal from a robot.
