By the time it was late at night, we were in the middle of Iowa, and we had already set up camp in yet another field. Everyone else was asleep but me and Eileen.

"Hi," she says nervously.

"Hi, fun trip so far don't you think," I say with anxiousness in my voice.

(Eileen and Garrison don't know it yet, but they both like each other)

"Yeah, it's even better that I get to spend part of the trip with you," she says sheepishly.

I blush, "Yeah, same," I say trying to avoid any more awkward conversations.

The both of us just look at the stars up in the sky, and with that, something clicks between the two that would change the dynamic of their friends forever.
