Sometimes I ask my mind
'Why cant I control you anymore'
And it replies
'Because that hope you live for
Went out the door'
And I ask
'How did it escape?'
And my mind answers
'You weren't paying attention
And only focused on neglection'
'Why am I breaking?' I ask
My mind says
'Because the earth was shaking
And you didn't stop faking'
I question
'How can I gain back power'
My mind
Is silent for over a hour
Till I ask
'Why cant I control you anymore'
