Chapter 11

Alex's P.O.V

It's Sunday

The day we vandalize the school is here and I'm here with everybody but cat I haven't seen her all weekend and I'm not sure if I should be scared or worried

Just then cat came around the left side of building running with a helmet on her hand

"Hey, sorry I'm late my bike wouldn't start. I'm going to have to fix her up"

"That's ok let's get started cat and alex will spray paint the front of the school mary ,clary and erica will destroy the classroom cause of there 'creative ways ' and the rest will work in the gym. Now lets get started" Ian checked to see if anybody was there and signal the rest to follow

Me and cat started right away on what we had to do and fast since it was a Sunday and we all wanted to go home

I got the black spray paint while cat has the orange one and we started are masterpiece

I was bored so I grabbed my headphones and put on pierce the veil 'King for a day' and started singing along to it until I heard the one thing that scares me more than anything....... Thunder

I hate thunder it always brings back the memory I hated since when I was a kid, here's what happened one time when I was seven my parents had to work a lot and my brothers were still too young to babysit me so they hired a sitter and I hated her she was so mean when it rained she would drag me and the boys outside during the rain and lock us out laughing at us as we tried to open the door (lucky too cause our tales didnt come out till three weeks after)

She was fired one week later because she ended up causing me to get very sick that I had to do to the hospital since I couldn't even stand up because my legs felt all heavy

It thundered again and this time lightning flashed and the sky's darkened and I could practically feel the air get thick and made my skin feel sticky I looked over at cat and saw her looking at the sky with......curiosity

I decided that we should go inside just then a it started raining

Shit

I pulled cat in the school but not after getting hit with water I ran into an empty classroom with five seconds left until I change, I locked the door and turned to her

"Cat, I can explain!"

Cat looked at me weirdly and was about to say something when I fell to the floor with a loud smacking sound since I used my hands for support I then looked at my tail and back to see cat staring at me wide eyed as she used the desk behind her for support

"This isn't what it looks like" I wonder how she'll take the news

Cat's .P.O.V

"This isn't what it looks like" I can't believe she kept this from her friends, especially me

"Your a mermaid!" I screamed at her

"Ok sooo it's exactly what it looks like, I can explain I swear but you have to keep this a secret cat,... promise me?"

"I promise" and I meant it I wasn't going to tell anyone this. Not even jamie

She started telling me about the curse that happened a long time ago and that each person that was there during it will have it past down and that she changes each time water hits or touches her but what really got my attention was her abilities or powers she has...until I enterupted

"What kind a powers do you have!? Can you read minds or how about tell the future.... oh oh tell me what I was in a past life? can you turn invisible or how bout - "

"Cat, chill out alright before you get a headache and I can control the elements of nature and I get the rest of my powers later on when I'm older maybe 19 or 20 years old tops and don't tell anyone or I'll have to leave for a while"

Why would she have to leave I guess the secret must really be important then

"Ok, you can trust me" I took us about five minutes to dry her tail because she got hit hard after a while it finally stopped raining and we we're finally able to finish our 'painting'

After that we went inside to see how the girls were holding up and they did a pretty good job the desks were thrown out the window so they're broken and they super glued white scarf like streamers that look really cool and also used mopes from the supply closest to spread glittery glue in the floor

"Um... alex can I tell you something?"

if she can tell me her secret than I can tell her mine

"Sure, what's up" she turned to me

"It's private"

"Ok" we walked out of the room which was a little confusing considering it was hidden by whiteness

"Alex I'm a werewolf "I suddenly blurted out once we were out

"Yea I know I can't believe it took that long for you to tell me"she said pretending to be hurt

"How do you know?"

"My family moved into your territory and half the school are werewolf's....what do expect, I'm not stupid"

"Alright so you know Jamie is an alpha and your mate, right?"

"Yea, why do you think I'm trying make him jealous... to see if he can man up and tell me I'm his mate and also cause I choose to not believe it"

"Well i guess you need a partner in crime and I want in"

"That could be cool so what the plan?" this is going to be so awesome but I have feeling Jamie is going to torcher me to death

"I don't know, but we'll think about it tomorrow" she said turning over to see clary throwing a chair at the floor and grabbing the broken leg and making a big hole in the wall

"Fine, but I need to tell you that jamie is expecting me to tell him the things you like right"

"Yup I know so let's mess with him" she said making a devilish smile

This is going to be fun
