Lukus didn't see the point of going to the pool when there would be so many people there.  Damn Tino and needing to see Berwald all the time.  Well, at least Emil has been dragged here with him, literally dragged mind you. Berwald had to pick him up and carry him to get him in the car, Lucas just accepted his fate and sidled in with his pouting brother.

"Now, you two you'd most likely have to come anyways because our other car is in the shop because Emil freaked out over a rabbit in the road and drove the car into a fence." Tino reminded the two brothers from the passenger seat.

"It's not my fault! I wasn't gonna kill a rabbit before I even got my driver's license!" Emil protested.

"So you'd be okay after you got your license is what you're saying." Lukus added in to further rile up his little brother.

"No, that's not what I was saying, god you're supposed to be on my side." Emil grumbled.

The banter filled the vehicle for the remainder of the ride until Berwald announced they arrived at the pool.

They got out of the car and retrieved their things from the trunk before they walked to the gate. Meanwhile, Tino started to lecture the two brothers on the amount of sunscreen they need to put on. During Tino's impromptu lecture, Berwald veered off from the group and entered a room to apparently get ready for his shift.

The group walked to find a spot to put their stuff after paying at the gate. While they were walking, Lukus noticed a man with spiked up blond hair out of the corner of his eye. He seemed to be a lifeguard on break from the whistle hanging from his neck, and was also in pretty excellent shape for someone who looked like an idiot in swim trunks printed with Denmark's flag.  Lukus shook himself from his thoughts and rejoined his family by the locker room.

Emil, to say the least, was pissed off. His friends forced him to come to the pool, and he'll probably get sunburnt because of how pale he was, and his traitorous brother just let them do it!  Berwald had already left for his shift, and both Tino and Lukus have already stripped down to their swim trunks. He followed soon after and immediately felt embarrassed at his pale complexion and how much more fit practically every other human being was than him. He figured he could help hide his smooth skin by slipping into the water after his brother.
While Emil was fretting over how cold the water was he didn't notice Lukus looking at him with eyes that were plotting something.  Too late, he already threw water into his face, effectively soaking him.  Emil, the intelligent person he was jumped into the pool to splash at him in a way to get back at his brother. However, in his haste for revenge, he forgot that he was shit at swimming.

Emil splashed water everywhere trying his best to stay afloat. He began to panic, realizing he wasn't making much progress. His heart was racing as he thrashed wildly in the water, hoping to get the attention of a lifeguard. Suddenly, a pair of hands wrapped around his waist and pulling him to the surface. Emil gasped for air and coughed up water, clutching to the man who saved him desperately. Then he looked up and locked eyes with his savior.  He had a tan complexion, contrasting with Emil's own, and was toned but not really buff.  His dark brown hair framed his face perfectly, or maybe that was just Emil's self conscious exaggerating, probably not. He flashed a smile and Emil thought he might combust right there from how embarrassing this situation was now. Honestly, a teenager that can barely swim, "Just get rid of yourself Emil that was pathetic."

"H-hey are you alright?" The man asked. Emil felt his heart just explode. His voice was literally the hottest sound he's ever fucking heard. It might be even more beautiful than his looks. Emil squirmed around for a bit before finding the courage to speak.
