"Alfred for the last time, no you may not take me out on a date tonight I'm busy!" The Brit scolded his...boyfriend in a harsh whisper. Arthur was still awkward about the subject, but they did kind of make it official. Anyway, sure he'd love to go on a date with Alfred but he was busy! Well..not really busy but more scared of his brothers. He sighed as he listened to Alfred laugh through the phone.
"Awwwww come on Artie pleeeeeeeease! We haven't made out in like...two hours!!!" Alfred pleaded.
Arthur rolled his eyes. He's completely pathetic. "Alfred I'm busy ok? I just can't go out tonight. Plus even if I did find a way to slip away from my chores and brothers, where would we even go?"
"Don't you worry hot stuff! I got the perfect set up. It's a surprise." The American grinned.
"Don't call me hot stuff." Arthur growled. "And I hate surprises."
"Well you'll love this one!!!! Meet me at the pool at 9!!!" Alfred smiled and hung up.
The line went dead as Arthur glared furiously at his phone. He glanced at the clock as it read 8:35. Shit he better get ready...

Ludwig walked into his home with a huge smile on his face. He shut the door and put his back against it, sighing contently. Feli really knew how to make him smile. They spent the evening together, and it was the most fun that the German has ever had. No one had ever made him as happy as the Italian did. He went to the kitchen to get something to eat, but his brother stopped him."So...do you want to tell me where you've been?" Gilbert questioned with a raise of his eyebrow.
Ludwig just stared at him awkwardly. "I was..you know...out and about."
"Out and about huh?" Gilbert glared. "So this doesn't have to do with that Italian boy you met earlier?"
"Listen bruder I'm sorry that I-"
Ludwig was cut off by his brother hugging me tightly."Ludwig I'm happy for you ok? I just..I just want you to be happy. I want you to be safe. And if you feel safe and happy with this Feliciano..I'll accept it."
Ludwig grinned and picked up his brother and spun him around.
"Hey put me down! I'm still your elder. Now make me a sandwich." Gilbert huffed.
Ludwig grinned. "Sure thing bruder."

Lukus was currently eating dinner with his "family." He rolled his eyes as Bernwald and Tino held hands. Love was stupid and a waist of time. Suddenly, Tino spoke up.
"Oh I forgot to tell you! Do you remember the Køler family? They were our neighbors when you were small, and then they moved to Denmark. Well, they're back in the neighborhood!"Lukus frowned. He did not remember them whatsoever. However, Lukus wasn't surprised that they were coming over. I mean, the guy was just too friendly. I guess he'd be forced to be polite and reintroduce himself to the Danish family, because he doubted they'd remember him. The door bell rang and Tino smiled and got up. He answered the door with a smile, welcoming a man and women into their home.
The couple happily chatted with Tino and Berwald as Lukus stared. That's when something happened. The hot lifeguard from the pool with the Danish swim trucks came bounding into the house. Lukus's heart stopped as he took in his features before panicking and running to the bathroom and locking himself in.
'This can't be happening' he told himself. He regained his breath and slowly opened the bathroom door. He must have been gone not too long because the family just sat down at the table with Berwald, Tino, and Emil.Lukus slowly walked into the room and took a seat. He fiddled with his hands under the table, trying not to make eye contact with the blonde Dane. The Dane flashed him a grin. "Hey Lukus, you probably don't remember me. I'm Matthias. I hope we can get to know each other better now," he said in a low voice.
All Lukus could do was stare.********************************************
Arthur cursed under his breath. He was going to make Alfred pay for this. He managed to get out of the house and into his car without being noticed as he drove to the pool. He got out and looked around curiously. Where could that stupid American be? It was exactly 9:00 on the dot. Arthur walked around a bit until Alfred appeared over the hillside."Artie!!!' This way dude you'll love this!!!" Alfred called out cheerfully.
"My name is Arthur you prick," the Brit grumbled as he followed Alfred.
When he finally caught up to Alfred he couldn't believe his eyes. There, beside the pool, was a romantic picnic set up under the stars. The water had a calming blue to it that matched Alfred's eyes.Arthur sat next to Alfred and smiled at him. "Alfred this is wonderful," the Brit smiled and kissed his boyfriend's cheek.
"You see? I told you so!" The blonde American laughed and put an arm around Arthur.
They talked and laughed as they laid there together, staring up at the stars. Alfred turned over to gaze at Arthur. The Brit looked at him. "What are you staring at?" He asked confused.
"Something way more beautiful than the stars," he replied in a whisper and gently kisses Arthur.
Arthur blushed a dark crimson. "That...was so cheesy."
"I found it rather romantic," Alfred smirked and wiggled his eyebrows.
Arthur rolled his eyes, still blushing, as he nudged his boyfriend lightly. Truth was, he actually thought that comment was the sweetest thing that has ever been said to him, but he's never going admit that.
The two lay there as both of them grew tired. "What time is it?" Arthur asked with a yawn."Midnight..." Alfred replied while checking his watch.
"Mm I need a to get home.." Arthur mumbled and tried to stand, but he was instantly pulled down next to Alfred.
"Stay a few more minutes," the American mumbled against his neck with his eyes closed sleepily.
And Arthur did. They fell asleep together, wrapped up in the picnic blanket as the sun slowly rose to start a new day.
