Leyna has decided to take a break from watching her brother and nephew and actually make good deeds. So she went to a small market just outside the forest. Jennabeth told her there was a desperate soul who desperately needed her help and guidance. That's the thing about jennabeth she's not just a companion, she can find lonely, sad or desperate souls and pinpoint them out for Leyna.

"They're over there" jennabeth said and pointed to the hooded figures by the fruit and vegetables store.

"Are you sure?" Leyna asked

She turned to look at Leyna with a scowl on her face "I have been doing this for fourteen years. When have I ever been wrong?" She remarked

"Alright I'll take your word for it" Leyna said while jennabeth scoffed. The light one turned back to the hooded figure to see they had disappeared.

"Stop thief" a guard yelled. She turned in his direction to see him and a group of other guards chasing after the same hooded figure who was now on a horse. With that She ran behind them. Leyna looked back at the village quickly to see all the villagers looking at the scene and at her. They must of known she was the light one by the clothes she wore. Elegant and posh. What also caught her eye was in the distance jennabeth was randomly sat on the floor eating what looked to be porridge. Leyna rolled her eyes and continued into the forest.

When Leyna caught up to them the hooded figure brought the horse to a stop, while the men came out of the trees. The figure jumped of their horse and pulled the cloak off their heads. When Leyna saw the person her eyes widened. There stood a young girl around the age of fifteen. She had fair skin to go with her raven black hair which made her ocean blue eyes pop.
She grabbed a bow that was strapped onto the horse and pulled an arrow out of the quiver on her back and aimed at the first man that ran to her. Then she released it. It flew through the air and landed in the guys shoulder. She then kept firing arrows at all of the other men. All the arrows landing in their shoulders making them fall to the ground. When she was done she grabbed the horses reigns and started to walk away with the horse trotting next to her.

She walked to a nearby lake. She dropped the reigns and walked closer to the water. When she was a certain distance to the water she sat down, pulled her legs into her chest and started to cry into her hands.

"Are you okay?" Leyna asked as She walked from behind the trees. The girl jumped and quickly stood up and turned to her.

"Im fine" she replied, obviously a lie.

"You don't need to lie to me. I'm here to help" Leyna said and walked closer to her "I'm leyna" She said and pulled her hand out. She grabbed it with a shaking hand and shook it.

"Annie" she replied with a small smile

" why were crying Annie?" The light one asked and walked closer to the water having her back to Annie. She didn't answer so Leyna looked back around to see her looking down at the ground. " you can trust me" She told her

" it's my older sister she's gone missing" she said looking up. When she said that flashbacks of when Leyna left rumple came flooding back to her. "she disappeared right after our mother died" Annie continued

"I'm sorry" Leyna said, truthfully

Annie shook her head. "Don't be it wasn't your fault" Leyna gave her a small smile

"Leyna! The funniest things just happened in the village when you left-" jennabeth said as she came out the trees when she saw Annie she stopped her sentence and goofily smiled at her.

"Wait! I know you. your jennabeth the light ones sidekick" Annie said. Jennabeth's eyes widened

"Sidekick! Leyna do I look like a sidekick to you?" She asked. Annie turned to leyna and pointed to her while shaking her head.

"No. Y-your the light one" she stuttered while walking backwards.

Leyna fully turned round to her "please don't be afraid!" She said while putting my hands up in surrender " im here to help you"

"How could you help me!" She screamed while pulling her bow out and aiming it at Leyna.

"I can reunite you with your sister" She said really quick.

"H-how?" She asked while lowering her bow.

"What's your sisters name?" Leyna asked her.

"No one has answered my question" jennabeth mumbled under her breath. Leyna rolled her eyes.

"Her name is Dylan. Dylan nap" Annie said ignoring jennabeth.

She nodded and walked back over to the shallow lake and pulled out a pebble. She waved her hand over it and it turned into a diamond thimble. She turned back to Annie and placed it in her hand.

"How am I meant to find my sister with a thimble?" Annie asked looking down at it in disbelief.

"It's not just a thimble. Its a seeker. you whisper a name to it in the moonlight and I will bring you to the said person" She corrected. Leyna looked up at the sky to see the moon rising above the horizon. " might want to do it now"

She looked back up at Leyna. Then she tackled her into a hug. "Thank you" she said and stepped back

"Im glad I could help" Leyna smiled

"I want to give you something" Annie said and pulled a box out her pocket and tried to give it her.

"No Its alr-" She started

"I insist" she said. So Leyna gently took it. She then walked walked into the lake where the reflection of the moon shone and whispered her sisters name. Out of nowhere a shadow with piercing purple eyes came and held its hand out for her. She turned back to Leyna and said "family is not an important thing. It is everything leyna. I could see it in your eyes that your also lost" then she turned back to the shadows and took its hand and they flew off.

"Lets go home jennabeth" Leyna sighed and walked back into the forest

"What about the horse?" She yelled, Walking after her.

2 hours later

Leyna sat in the window of our treehouse just looking out thinking about the words Annie said. She's right.family is everything.

Suddenly a green flashing light erupted in a small part of the forest.

"Jennabeth!" She yelled. Then heard loud footsteps coming her way.

"What?! What is it?!" She frantically yelled

Leyna pointed to the light "what is that?" She asked. Jennabeth would know.

"It's" she's squinted "a portal?" She questioned herself.

Then just like it appeared it disappeared. Leyna turned to her " who used it?"She asked. she has a gift for knowing these things

She shook her head

"Jennabeth!" Leyna yelled making her jump " who was it?" She asked calmly

She sighed "it was baelfire"

After hearing those three words She collapsed to the floor and cried. I might have only met him once but he was family. Now he's gone.
