chapter 2

'What is going on', I thought as my body slowly regained consciousness. I slowly blinked my eyes open and after a few minutes of adjusting to the bright lights in the room. I noticed I was in a totally different room.

This one was white, it looked like a room you would see a psychotic person tied in... like in the movies I thought.

"Oh... you're finally awake", I heard a voice from the door. I slowly turned my head, since my neck is swollen, toward the door and saw a boy tall boy around the age of 18 or 19. the boy came and sat on the chair that was placed on the floor next to my bed.

"Looks like your neck is healing up pretty well" he said taking a closer look at my neck, which was all probably bruised.

"W-water" I chocked out, my voice sounding hoarse and rough. "Oh yea, sorry" he muttered sheepishly and got me a glass of water.

I slowly took sips of the water since it hurt swallowing. "Thank you!",I said my voice sounding a lot better then before.

"Least I can do", he said giving me a soft smile, I tried to give one back but it probably looked like crap compared to his.

"I'm really sorry about what my brother did. He's not a big fan of mundanes", the boy said looking at the ground.

"Mundanes?...wait did you say brother?!?", I asked my eyes wide in shock. HOW?!?... they seem like two  totally different people.

"Yea, I'm Kai(ky) Stone, which I probably should've mentioned a long time ago-" he pause for a send and continued, "That was my brother Gray Stone and mundanes mean humans or homo sapiens, whatever you want to call them", he concluded.

Wow never thought two people so different could be related, as I finished that thought. A soft knock was sounded on the door and the same girl who was trying to stop Gray slowly walked in and stood next to Kai(ky).

"Hi I'm Keelee, this dorks little sister"she said sounding cheery and happy.

"Hey, thanks for trying to stop Gray, it means a lot", I reply. Her smile brightened even more and then she started rambling.

"You're very welcome, I knew it was wrong I should've stopped him, so I tried but it didn't work out so well since he is so big and did you know he's super happy so-," Keelee was stopped by Kai(ky) putting his hand on her mouth to shut her up.

"You're probably giving the poor girl a head-ache" he said calmly to his hyper-active sister.

"Oops... Sorry", Keelee said, a faint blush blush gracing her slightly chubby cheeks.

"It's okay" I  said slightly giggling. I wish I had a sibling relationship like that... Unfortunately I got a brother like Cameron who is a total arse hole.

"Hey... you there?" Kai(Ky) asked snapping his fingers in front of my face.

"Uh... Sorry, I kinda spaced out" I answered slightly dazed. "It's cool, Keelee just went out to fetch some food for you, hope you like Oatmeal", Kai(ky) said.

"Yea that'd be great" I answered, and then kai(ky) had to go do 'something'.

Then again the door flew open and.....the devil himself walked in.

I gulped and thought ,'Well this is going to be very interesting'...
