~Laleena's POV~

I woke up this morning around 6:30am preparing myself for the first real day of normal school.

So, I'm 17 years old, and I've been home-schooled up until now.

Me and my parents both decided that I needed to make some friends, be more independent and to experience things on my own.

So here I am getting ready, for the first day of... hell.

My mum thought it would be better to get me my own apartment too.

Plus, to help pay for it she got me a job at a small bakery, just down the road, wow independence is hard work!...

Anyways, I woke up and had a quick shower, washing my hair in my vanilla scented shampoo and conditioner.

Once I had finished, I wrapped the fluffy towel, firmly, around my body and walked into my room.

I got Changed into a white tank top and black skinny jeans, wearing a royal blue oversized knitted jumper on top.

Once I was dressed I decided to get started on my hair.

My hair was long, and a dark chocolaty brown colour.

The only thing that annoyed me about my hair is that it took so long to do, but it was so easy to mess up.

I mean yeah, it does look nice, when I let it dry naturally, but I wanted to try something different.

I quickly dried my hair, then straightened it once it was dry.

Once I was happy with my hair it was around 7:15am, so I thought I'd better make a start on my makeup.

Now, I know what your thinking.

No, I do not cake myself in makeup, I normally use natural colours, a little mascara and eye liner, so don't think you can go round calling me a slut or a slag or anything.

But seriously though, I do hate it when girls call each other, because of the amount of makeup they wear, pathetic.

But one word that really gets on my nerves, is slag, I won't go into much detail about why I hate that word, so I'll just leave that there.

It was now around 7:45am, and I thought I should have some breakfast before I go.

I decided just to make some toast, yes I'm lazy, don't blame me! Its in my genes, blame my parents...

It took me, just under 10 minutes to finish off my delicious, crispy toast.

I walked over the stairs and pulled on my black converse pumps, grabbed my purple backpack and left for school.

On my way to school, I got quite nervous, all questions like -

What if nobody likes me?

What if everyone thinks I'm weird?

What if I don't fit in?

- Where running through my mind, and as the school came into view, I almost had a panic attack, I felt sick.

I walked up the school driveway and into the main office where I would collect my timetable and meet my new form tutor.

I walked through the wooden doors, instantly being told to 'take a seat' as I stepped foot into the building, but I still did as I did as I was told.

I was waiting for around 10 - 15 minutes, until a women dressed in a white and pink floral dress approached me.

"You must be Laleena," She smiled.

"Sure am," I chirped up.

"Great nice to meet you, I'm Mrs Smith," She smiled " If you could just follow me," She added and started making her way down the long corridor.

I slowly followed her, still anxious about how today will play out, but my thoughts got distracted by her voice.

"This will be your form room from now on," She told me. " Hi class, this is Laleena," She announced as she walked into the brightly decorated room. "Please could you take a seat next to Harry," She asked, pointing to a green eyed boy with curly hair.

I nodded and slowly walked over to the desk, placed my backpack on the floor and sat down.

I turned to face Harry and smiled, but he just replied with a look which said he was a bit pissed off.
