I entered the club, adrenaline pumping through my veins, I just wanted to get this party started.
"Someones eager," Gabby stated, laughing towards me.
"Yup, I just need a drink,' I laughed nervously, awkwardly scratching the back of my neck.
"Well then allow me," Gabby laughed, making her way over to the bar. She took it upon herself to order the drinks, telling me mine was a surprise.
I sat down at a table, waiting for Gabby with the drinks.
I let my eyes wander around the room, landing on a dark haired boy looking at me.
I'm not quite sure why, but I felt my cheeks heat up. As a smirk, grew across the dark haired boys face, I looked away.
I couldn't help it, I felt as if I was being watched, so I turned back around to see if the dark haired guy was still looking at me.
But, to my surprise, he was no longer sat at the table, he was stood right in front of me.
"Hi, I'm Calum, Calum Hood," he introduced himself, showing me a toothy grin. I noticed an accent in his voice, but I just couldn't quite put my finger on it.
"Um, hi," I laughed, "I'm Khan, Laleena Khan," I laughed, as I introduced myself in a James Bond style, which also caused him to laugh.
"So..." I began.
"I'm back," Gabby said, placing the drinks down between us, "oh... am I interrupting something?" She smirked.
"No, not at all," I smiled, "this is Calum, Calum this is Gabby," In introduced the two.
"Nice to meet you," Calum smiled, politely.
"You too," Gabby said, as she returned the gesture.
"Guys, I'll just be a sec," Calum informs us, and stands up.
"He's cute!" Gabby says, as he walks away.
"I know right," I agree.
"You think he has any cute friends?" Gabby asks, and at that moment Calum comes back into view. He's walking back to our table, with a guy. A green haired guy.
I automatically assume he'd be perfect for Gabby, seeing as they both have their hair dyed exotic colours.
"Guys this is Michael," Calum smiles, taking a seat next to me.
"Hey," Michael waves, sitting down next to Gabby.
I take a sip of the drink Gabby brought me, it tasted fruity, but I liked it.
In fact, I liked it so much, I'd finished it in a matter of seconds.
"Woah there girl," Gabby laughed.
"Sorry... I uh, was thirsty," I played it off.
"Well, thirsty girl, would you like to dance?" Calum asked, holding out a hand.
I happily grabbed his hand, and stood up, "yes," I grinned, leaving Michael and Gabby to chat.
"So, Laleena, tell me about yourself," Calum said, as he swayed to the music.
"Well, I'm 18, and I've been homeschooled up until this year, and um, that's it really," I laughed. "tell me about yourself,"
"Well, I'm 18 too, I'm in a band, I've, well we've -me and my friends- just moved here from Australia, for college," He tells me.
"Wow, Australia," I say, intrigued.
"Yeah,"
****
"I've had a great time tonight, it was nice meeting you," Calum smiles, "hey can I give you my number so we can keep in touch?" He asks.
"Sure," I say and him my phone, and I notice Gabby and Michael exchange numbers too.
"Thanks," he grins as he passes me his phone.
I take his phone and type my number in, saving my name as 'Khan, Laleena KhanB)' and pass him his phone back.
He passes me my phone back too, and we all walk out together.
"So, did you have a good birthday?" Gabby questions.
"Birthday?" Calum asks.
"Yeah, it's my birthday," I smile, sheepishly.
"Well, happy birthday," He says and puts his arm around my waist.
It feels a little uncomfortable, but I let it slide.
We continue walking until me and Gabby reach Gabby's car.
"Tonight was great, thanks," I smiled at everyone.
"You're welcome," Calum said.
"Staph, you're making me blush," Gabby laughed.
Michael didn't say anything really, seeing as we didn't really talk. He just smiled, so I returned it.
"Bye," Michael said, as he gave Gabby a hug.
Aw, well aren't they cute.
"Shuddup," Gabby laughed.
"What? shit, I said that out loud?" I could already feel my cheeks heating up.
"You're funny," Michael laughs.
"Why, thankyou," I take a bow. "Well, bye guys," I say, as I open the passenger door.
"Cya, I'll text you," Calum announces.
"Okay, bye," I say and climb into the car, closing the door.
"Bye," Michael and Gabby, say in unison and hug... again.
She gets into the car and within seconds we are off cruising down the road, I waved at both of the boys while they were still in view.
"Tonight was fun," Gabby says.
"Hell yeah," I cheer.
"Did you see how cute Michael was?" She squeals.
"You two are so cute for each other," I tell her.
"Hush child," she blushes.
The ride back seemed to go super fast, like, all we was doing was giggling, all the way back.
Time flew, so fast.
And a few minutes later we pulled up into my drive.
"Well, I hope you had a good birthday," She smiled, hugging me, which was quite an awkward situation seeing as we were still in the car.
"Thanks for tonight, see you tomorrow, yeah?" I smiled back.
"Definitely," She laughed, "cya,"
I got out of the car, closing the door behind me, and stood in the drive way.
She reversed the car and drove away, as I waved her off.
I pushed the key into the door, and unlocked it, pushing it open.
I entered the house, and dumped my bag near the door.
I walked into the living room, as I glanced over at the couch, only to see Harry.
"Where have you been? I've been worried sick," He spits, looking up at me.
Woah, wait a minute.
Harry?
Worried about me?
What the hell just happened?
