Tess pov.

"What?" I exclaim. How is that possible, well I guess my dad wasn't her mate... He took her for her beauty. But still! "I have to go see her" I say pushing past Justin. But he grabs my arm stopping me

"I wouldn't. They uh. Went off somewhere." He puts quotations around 'went off somewhere

"Oh." I say. Grossed out. "Well we need to address your pack on what's happening" i turn to Asher.

"What is happening?" Justin asks

"Oh fuck. I forgot. My father. He's going to attack you tomorrow" I say and he gets a shocked look.

"I'll call them" he says standing only wearing sweatpants. "I have to change first though. You should too Tess" I look at my attire and notice I'm wearing an over sized sweat shirt and pants. Some of my own blood on them. My mother must have changed me.

"I'll go get you some nice clothes since you'll help with addressing the pack" Justin says.

" why do I have-" I stop because he leaves the room in the middle of my sentence.

"You have to because your my mate" Asher says wrapping his arms around my waist.

"Are you going to tell your pack?" I ask nervously

"Only if it comes up. Because your so scared" he kisses my forehead

"I'm not scared!" I tell him "I'm tress black! Fear fears me!"

"I know it does love" he goes to his closest grabbing a pair of jeans and a white shirt. I hear a knock on the door. I open it and see a pile of folded clothes on the floor. I pick it up and walk to the bathroom

I put on the gray sweater and black jeans Justin picked out for me. Then add my white converse. I walk out to see Asher fully dressed.

"Ready?" He asks

"As ready as I can be" I say as we walk out of the room.

We walk out side on to a stage type thing. Once people look at me they gasp in shock, ether because they thought I was dead or they thing I'm a monster

"Everyone thank you for coming out for this meeting. It is very important." Asher says then looks to me to continue

"My father. Richard black. Is planning an attack on this pack tomorrow."

"Why should we believe her!" A woman cries out

"She's probably setting us up!" Another yells.

My heart drops to the pit of my stomach. I knew this would happen. I'm a monster. Just like my father

"Quiet!"Asher growls loudly. Making the pack-and myself- jump

"She is trying to help us! She wouldn't hurt this pack because she is your luna!" He yells and everyone's eyes go wide

Then there's a single clap. The source is Adam. Then lee claps. Then everyone claps. Except maybe two people who still look mad.

Asher smiles at me and grabs my hand. The tingles that run up my arm calm me instantly

'I know they're nice' I hear Asher's voice in my head

'What?' I ask in my head

'Our bond. It's strong enough for us to hear each other's thoughts if we're touching'

'Oh. I didn't know that'

'Because you hardly touch me' with that I let go of his hand and he chuckles

"Your beta will go over what to do during attack" he nods to Philip who nods back. Then we exit the stage.

We go up to Asher's room and start to make our plan for the battle.

"Hell attack at sun down no doubt. With who knows how many rouges." I tell him.

"A lot of people are going to lose their life's" Asher says looking at me.

"Let hope that not to many will" I reply. "Me and my mother will be on the opposite side of the forest you, your pack, and my pack will be-" Asher cuts me off.

"What?! You'll be away from me? No!" He whines

"My father can't know we're alive" I tell him.

"Why not?"

"Me and my mother are the strongest of all the others- no offense"

"None taken" he nods as u continue

"And he'll send everyone after us. And we'll be dead-again- within the first twenty minutes" Asher growls lowly and grabs my shoulders and pushes me into his chest.

"You won't die. Ever again" he says so sure

"Let's hope not."

Oh my godddd I'm sooo sorry I haven't updated in forever! I'm on vacation in Colorado and the cabin I'm staying in have no internet connection so I've gone with out wattpad for a couple days *sobs*
