The full moon was glowing brightly in the dark sky lighting the lake, giving it a misterious touch with the whole fog circling on it's surface, reflecting the bright moon and the passing clouds. Trees surrounded the area hiding it in the forest making it untouched from any human, Zora, Deku or Goron. And yet here you sat, under a tree enjoying the peace of this place you called your favourite. It seemed that nobody knew about this place and you decided to never tell anyone since you found it and no one cared about that anyway.
You bit down on the pencil making a cracking sound that lasted in the forest for mere seconds. The sketchbook in your lap showed the picture of the lake from your current point of view. You tilted your head twirling the pencil between you fingers. The picture was pretty, really close to reality but... but there was missing something! Sighing heavily your head made contact with the hard wood as you thought hard about what was missing.
Coming to no conclusion you stuffed everything inside a bag and went back home to Clock Town. A knack of a branch behind you made you turn around towards the lake again expecting to see a monster or maybe a animal you looked around a hand on the knife you carried on your hip but there was nothing, nothing at all. Only the fog was there now covering the ground as well.
Letting go of the knive you sighed again and went back home. Now you already imagined things! The next day you came to the lake around midnight you heard a very familiar tune your mother used to hum at rainy days. The sounds of the instrument dragged you forward pulling you over to it. There at the other side of the lake sat a figure at a tree playing the unknown instrument. You couldn't recognize the person sitting there only aknowledging it's presence. Nevertheless curious you stood there starring at the person surrounded by fog and darkness.
Wait this was it... the missing piece of the puzzle. You returned to your seat under the tree grabbing pencil and sketchbook beginning to draw the shadow of a person standing on the other side of the lake.
... Finished. Smiling brightly you looked over the work. It was beautiful! A very good present for your best friend Karin, the daughter of Kafei and Anju. It was perfect! You jumped to your feet suddenly realizing that the playing had stopped you looked upwards to the person still sitting motionless on the tree maybe even starring into your direction just like you minutes before. You smiled and waved shortly before you ran into the shadows of the trees disappearing to the direction of Clock Town. You were stopped on the fields of Termina by the howling of black wolvos. The howling was close by so you couldn't just run towards the safety of the town. And it didn't sound like one, wolvos normally weren't alone they hunted in a pack so fighting was also impossible you would die because of the fact that you weren't really a great fighter.
Your hands started to tremble and you took several steps back. The yellow glowing eyes of the monsters came closer circling around you waiting for an attack. The growling meant that they were hungry and ready to kill. Your (e/c) eyes followed they're movements one arm clenching the sketchbook, the other the hilt of the knive. Maybe they left a opening so that you could run... but the monsters were surely faster than you and would catch you not to far from your current position... what on earth should you do? Were you to stay and fight you would die for sure and if you made a break for it the monsters would hunt you down before you could go inside Town and then they would kill you. Any other possible options?
A black-gray wolvos made a howling noise and leaped at you his claw charching at you. Your eyes widden and you took a step back loosing your balance and falling to the ground screaming in pain as the claw dug deep into your arm. Loosing the grip on the book you hold your arm narrowing your eyes waiting for the final strike.... that never came. Instead there was a cutting noise and the monsters howling before they turned to dark dust. Hearing a sword slowly sliding inside it's sheath you opened your eyes to find a tall man standing infront of you. He wore a white tunic with a dark armor protecting his torso. A equally white cap flowing down his back you looked up in shook. Man was he tall! Maybe about five feet or something. >>You alright?<< his deep voice rumbled from above as he turned around. You stayed quiet looking up at his white pupilless eyes. Blue and red war painting on his forehead and cheeks. White hair sticking out beneath the cap he was wearing. Finally getting control over you you nodded. >>I'm fine. Thank you for saving me.<< you said slowly collecting the book and standing up. >>You're welcome.<< he answered and turned to walk away. You watched him leave and ran off as soon as you realised that there were more monsters lurking around on the fields and you were wounded.
The next day you arrived at Karins birthday party and she totally loved the picture you made for her. Her parents liked it too praising your drawing skills and your fantasy.... well they didn't knew that the lake actually exist so it made sense. But Karin was not dumb enough to believe you your lie about why you were wearing a thick hoodie in summer. Truth be told you tried to hide the wound of the encounter. The adults were never to leave you out into the fields again... alone... so you were never to see your favourite place again no you certainly wouldn't want that so hid it and bandaged it all by yourself. >>Let's hang out together.<< Karin said cheerfully and the two of you went out into the Termina fields and towards the Romani Ranch where Cythia was waiting for you.
>>Here we are.<< Karin announced as she saw her friend. >>Welcome you two!<< Cynthia shouted and hugged you two.The time flew by like it was nothing and Karin wanted to have a sleepover. Cynthia accepted glad that her two bestfriends were staying for the night. Chatting over hours you slowly drifted off only to be awoken by a beautiful sound... wait you knew that sound. It was the same instrument as the night before. Slowly you got up strapping your knive around your waist and again following it. Now determinded to find out who it was that played so beautiful. Leaving the Ranch and running down to the lake you found yourself on the other side near the sound. You looked around, searching for it. Finding the exact same guy that saved you the night before playing the song of storms on the instrument. Soft rain was now falling down the clouded sky and lightings flickering in the sky loud thunder roaring seconds after it. >>Beautiful.<< you mumbled watching the storm and hearing the melody. Startled by that the tall man stopped and looked towards you. >>Oh ehr sorry I didn't meant to interrupt you.<< you apologised. >>You didn't.<< he responded calmly. >>C-can I know what kind of instrument that is?<< you asked shyly. >>You don't know?<< he asked, his deep voice holding surprise. >>No. But it looks familiar.<< you responded. >>Ocarina.<< he said. >>Can I listen?<< >>Do as you like.<< he said again beginning to play again.
You sat there listening to his melodys for hours and hours. Till the morning sun began to shine at the lake. >>Thank you.<< you thanked him and left.
You returned day for day. Listening to the tune. He didn't mind one bit. Again the Sun was rising and you were fast asleep on a rock nearby. Slowly he approached you waking you by shaking your shoulder. You flinched at the pain that was flooding your hurt arm. Your (e/c) eyes cracked open looking sleepily in his own white ones. >>Don't you have somewhere to be?<< he asked. You sat up yawning shaking your head. >>I'm all alone at home. The people could care less about me.<< you explained to him. It was the first time for you two to have a proper conversation. >>I see.<< >>Do you have somewhere to be?<< you asked curious. >>No. I am wherever I want to be.<< he explained. >>So you're a traveller?<< you asked. >>No. I am a Demon.<< he said smiling sadly. >>Demon?<< you asked tilting your head. >>I used to go on rampages. Killing, robbing... things like that.<< A bit shocked you felt yourself stiffen but then again he said used to... right? And that made you even more curious but you felt as if you wouldn't learn more about that. >>What is your name? I've never actually catched it?<< you asked smiling a bit. >>Fierce Deity.<< he replied. >>A bit long... how about Fierce? Oh I like that one.<< you chukled. He raised a eyebrow at you. >>My name is (Y/N).<< >>A fitting name.<< he commented. >>Thanks.<< you smiled brightly causing a smile to appear on his face as well. It was so quick you could have sworn you imagined it. But it was there it definitly was! ....
