Cas comes back from the hospital, "No. You're a sick, twisted, broken version of him."

Dean shrugs. "Maybe, but you'll take it. You know he's in here. Maybe he'll jump out again."

Cas has a disgusted look on his face. "You're full of lust and greed and malice. Dean was full of kindness and courage."

"Well, I'm glad to hear you think so fondly of me, well, what used to be me." Dean grabs Cas by the tie. "But, don't tell me he wasn't full of lust, and violence, and more. He'd go to hell even if he didn't make that deal."

Cas stays silent for a while, before stammering, "You- you are...a true

demon."

"That's what hell does to you." Dean raises his voice. "That's what happened when your 'guardian angel' leaves you there to rot!"

"I wasn't sent to be your guard dog, I don't serve you, nor man." Castiel barks.

"Oh. I just felt Dean's heart break." He clutches his chest dramatically. "Not even a sorry. Wow, Cas."

Castiel glares up at Dean, not responding.

"You just want to justify what you did. You were too slow. You didn't really care about Dean, so you took your time."

"This was not my fault, I had listened to them, it was an accident." Cas' voice is full of shame.

"Pretty big screw up." Dean smirks. "Now you're stuck with me. Half Dean, half demon. Oh, Deanmon. I like it."

Cas tries to squirm away from Dean's grip.

Dean just pulls Cas closer. "You're not even going to try to kill me. Despite the fact that-" Dean falls to the floor.

Cas falls down with him, and crawls away from Deans body.

Dean gasps and looks at Cas. His eyes are wide and scared, genuinely scared.

Cas backs up towards the wall. "Stop! Stop messing with my head! Stop it!"

Dean scoots away from Cas. He clutches his own stomach. He looks up at Cas with pleading eyes.

Cas gets up and keeps his back pressed to the wall. "Stop..."

Tears spill out of Dean's eyes. He covers his face and curls into a ball.

Cas walks over to Dean and crouches in front of him. "This might hurt, but it will help get rid of the demon." Cas raises a hand.

Dean looks up at Cas. "Please." He looks broken. Cas wonders how long he's been trapped in there, what he was actually doing when he went out at night.

"It's going to be okay, Dean." Cas places his hand on Deans forehead and waits.

Dean braces himself, but nothing happens. He opens his eyes slowly. "Do it, Cas." He pleads.

"I-I don't know what's going on." Cas tries again.

Dean's eyes become more panicked. "Cas please." His voice is stained. "Make it stop."

"Dean, I don't know what's going on, it's- it's not working for some reason." Cas mutters.

Dean's voice cracks and he collapses into Cas' arms. "Help me. He'll be back."

"I'm trying Dean. I'm trying."

Dean begins to sob, he clutches Cas' trench coat tight. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry."

"For what, Dean?" Cas tries to keep his voice strong for Dean.

"Everything he's saying. I dont blame you, Cas." He buries his face into Cas' chest. "I love you." He says so quietly that Cas can barely hear it.
