My alarm set off and brought me alive, by that I mean awake. My eyes opened and I sluggishly got out of bed, hugging my arms, why is my house always so cold! I go over to my dresser and open the top drawer, pulling out my navy blue tie and name tag then heading to my closet to get my blazer, white shirt and my black pants.

I get dressed in my school uniform and slip on my black shoes, heading back to my dresser I fix my bed head and look at myself...

~

My name: Rhett Jonson.

~

I smally smile at my appearance and walk out of my room and downstairs to the kitchen. My mother places a meal on the table for me and my siblings who later come down in their uniforms. My elder sister, Rebecca, dressed in a navy skirt and a light yellow shirt with a navy blue sailors collar, her hair pulled back and curled softly. my older brother, Marcus, dressed the same as me.... Even though I'm 2 years younger...my mother smiles warmly as me and my older siblings sat down and ate our breakfast.

~

After breakfast, me and my siblings grabbed our bags and lunches, kissed our mother goodbye, and headed off for school.

~

I walked through the halls of Kallen Highschool and took my route to my locker, immediately being greater by my friend Alice. Alice, a girl who dyed her hair blue in sixth grade and never went back to her chocolate brown hair, her eyes covered in black contacts, making her eyes look demoniac.

"Good morning Rhett!" she bounced.

"Morning Alice." I replied to my friend of many years.

We grabbed our books and headed for class, Alice rambling on about her weekend and me occasionally agreeing with an "ah" "mhm" "okay". Yet I Haden't been listening, because a low ring began in my ears and caused my neck to feel hot, extremely hot. I moved my head and it ceased.

Classes went as usual and once add awhile I'd get that same pain in my neck. I feared I had dislocated a disk or something.

~

My siblings and I seperated as soon as out shoes touched the dark, soft brown carpet of our living space, a fairly large room to be presice. With my father working for a major company, and my mother running a online business, my family was pretty wealthy, as you could say.

I went up into my room and lied down on my sheets. my mind took me into a deep sleep, as clouds formed outside my window.

~

I shot up at thunder cracked loudly. My forehead glazed with a thin layer of sweat. I saw it was no longer daylight. I slowly got up and walked out of my room. down the hall. And to the double staircase. it's pitch black may I tell you. I grip the railing and slowly walk down the first flight of steps. I reach the platform and begin going down the second flight. I feel my foot slip out from under me as I miss-stepped and my grip slipped from the railing, I fell. I heard cracks and felt immense pain building. I landed at the bottem of the large stair case, my vision dazed, my body pained, arms, legs, neck, everything hurt. my chest ached and I had trouble breathing, it felt like my ribcage was collapsing in on itself. my vision blurred even more, and everything, went black.
