"I'm dead.."

My eyes opened, my vision blurry and my neck sore. I looked around me and realized I wasn't  where I last was, now I was in a black room, with torches all around. I stood up.

"you're awake." a female voice called from the shadows.

I turned around to see a young female, about 13 years of age. She had dawned a black dress which seemed to be made of black mist because it flowed and light smoke rose to the air. Her face was dark but with skin that was ghastly white, her eyes were an eerie shade of crystal blue with makeup even my sister couldn't compete with. I stood there, awe struck at the girl. when my eyes fixed on her tiara. It looked like black liquid that had somehow solidified yet still looked like liquid.

"That was a horrible fall, darling." her voice was soft.

"M-my fall? How would you know about that? Where am I? Who are you? And what am I doing here?" my voice was raspy and hoarse.

"I am the Godess. And welcome Rhett, to the Underrealm, where you will be staying for now on. You will find out why you have been brought here and also darling, I know all." she looked up at me and made full eye contact. She was terrifyingly beautiful.

My nerves snapped at her answers. my eyes widened and I felt sick.

" A-am I.....dead?" my voice didnt feel like mine anymore.

Her dark face turned grim and I had my answer. I was in fact, dead. The Goddess raised her hand and a black mirror arose from the black floor. I looked and was terrifyed of what I saw looking back at me. My gray-green eyes had completely gone away and were overtaken by white, I had a trail of blood leaving my lip, my hair was a mess, but what took me to extreme was...my neck was...mangled...my collar bone stuck out and my skin had been pulled in many different directions, I looked like a monster. I backed up and hit a door.

"You may choose your fate, Wrench. Go through the door and follow the torch light. You will meet one of my followers. goodbye for now. darling."

With that, she smiled and dissolved into thin air. I felt around for the knob and grinned it tightly, turning around and pulling the door open. Racing down the hall. After a minute, I reached a purple room with, a red door and a black one. The lights flickered and a girl appeared. She had blonde hair, capped with a black top hat which had a purple ribbon around it. She had a concintrated drip of black on her cheek , coming from her eye which was literally black. Her purple lipsticked lips curled into a semi-phycotic smile as her eyes locked with mine. Her white shirt covered with a metallic purple vest glowed with a eerie aura.

" Welcome! I'm Trixi the choice chaser! I have one simple task for you. Two very different paths in a single plain, you can travel one, not both. and once you do, there's no turning back. I hope you choose the right choice of door." she tilted her head toward the red door, signalling me to take that one. With that nod she placed her finger tips to her hat and bid me farewell before disappearing just ad the Goddess had.

I sighed and reached for the bronze knob of the red door.
