I sat in my bedroom with a bed sheet over me like a cloak. I closed my eyes and went into my imagination. Yes, I had imaginary friends. Their names are Deus Ex Machina and Muru Muru. I made Deus the Goddess of Time and Space, and Muru Muru is just a little girl who is a servant to Deus. They are my best friends, and they give great advice. Plus, they keep me company when my mom isn't home. So they are family to me.
"Hey Jack! Long time no see!", Muru Muru said as she crawled onto my bed. I opened my eyes and find myself and my bed in Deus's Temple. I looked down at Muru Muru. "Hey Muru Muru.", I said with a smile. She sat next to me and smiled back. "Did you finish your videos?", she asked as if she was my mother. I sighed, acting like her child. "Yes mom, I did my videos. I'm waiting for them to upload.", I said in a whiny voice. Muru Muru bursted out laughing and fell backwards onto my bed. "Hahahahahaha! You're so weird Sean!", she said full of laughter. I laughed a bit, "At least you still like me."
"Sean, is everything all right?", a powerful voice asked. I looked up at Deus, who was sitting on her throne. "Oh, everything is fine. Really.", I replied. Deus shook her head, "Tell me what happened." I sighed and told her about my classmates and what they said about me. "...And it makes me feel bad about myself. It's like I'm another person out there. Which I am because I'm not from Japan. I'm from Ireland. I stick out like a sore thumb.", I finished.
Deus stood up and walked over to my bed. She hugged me. "Oh Sean, I know that it's difficult for you. But I'm grateful that you weren't beat up again.", she said. Oh, I forgot to mention the jocks. They often beat me up every Thursday. And sometimes they give previews on Wednesdays, which is today.
Deus then grabbed my phone and closed her eyes. She gave it to me. "There, now you won't have to worry about the jocks anymore. And it will tell you more about your future.", she said. I looked down and I saw the first thing written in my diary.

My eyes went wide with shock and amazement. Muru Muru looked over my shoulder and hugged me. "CONGRATS SEAN! YOU GOT A DIARY!!! IM SO JEALOUS OF YOU!!!", the girl squealed. I smiled, knowing that this was all in my head. However, I looked up at Desu.
"Thanks Desu."
Then I was out of the imagination. It was nighttime now. I looked down at my phone and sighed. Still the same old phone. I plugged in my phone and lied down in bed. I slowly felt my eyes drooping with sleep.
I soon fell into a deep sleep.
