I sat in the back of the classroom next to the window, not paying attention to the teacher of course. I was busy writing in my diary on my phone. I had rarely any friends whatsoever, I was too busy with my phone diary. This is how it always has been. And how it probably will always be....
BRINGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!
Ah, the final bell. I got up and grabbed my bag. I walked out of the classroom, continuing to write what I was currently doing. As I walked by, I heard a group of my classmates talk about me. So I wrote what they said.
"Is that Jacksepticeye?
Yeah, that's him. The YouTuber from Ireland.
I thought he was more talkative in person. Guess not.
Wonder why he is always on his phone all day...
Probably has a girlfriend back in Ireland or something. That guy knows how to keep a relationship connected at least.
Are you kidding? I heard he keeps a phone diary. There's no way he has a girlfriend!
Oh. That seems kinda lame. I thought he was replying to some comments. Rumor has it that he makes two videos a day. Shame really..."
I was a bit hurt by that. I mean, sure I moved to Japan as a transfer student, but I suppose they are right. I used to be so energetic. My dad had to transfer jobs and we had to sell the cabin. Then my mom found out that my dad owed thousands of Yen, Japanese currency, in debt. She got so mad that they got divorced. It was way too expensive for our family and we had little money because of the cost of airplane tickets, which we had to use most of the money that we got selling the cabin. She said that it was my father's problem now and that she wanted no part of it, and it was the best decision she could make. If she didn't divorce, we would have ended up living on the streets and I would have had to given up YouTube forever.
I guess that the whole experience left me in a huge mess. I had to fake being my energetic self just to hide my depression. I didn't want to let my subscribers down. But it made me feel worse about myself to lie to my subscribers. That's when I started to write a phone diary. It made me feel good to write all of my emotions. And I had access to it all the time.
I was walking home while typing away in my diary. I looked up every now and then. I walked towards that one rock in the sidewalk that somehow some concrete made it stick to the sidewalk. "I think I'll go right this time.", I said walking to the right of the rock. I always change which side I walk when I come across the rock. Just a little thing that I enjoyed for no reason whatsoever. I walked into the house and took my shoes off at the door. It was just me and my mom now. My other siblings were able to move back to Ireland. But it's going to take me and my mom a while. Mom worked two shifts. God bless her. She keeps the fridge full of food, electricity powering our electrics, and water flowing throughout the pipes. Sadly, I rarely get to see her every day. She comes home really late at night when I'm sleeping and leaves early in the morning before I wake up.
Oh, I found her daily note. She always leaves me a note before she goes to work as a heads up.
"Sorry Sean, It's double night-shift night. But don't worry, the groceries are on the table. Eat all you like! I finally got a booklet of coupons!
I love you, my little Boss
~Mom"
Thanks mom. I love you too.
