Chapter 8

Riley's P.O.V

"I can tell" liam said while grabbing a slice of pizza and laughing. 

I can't believe we're actually 'getting along' . I wonder if it's going to be like this for awhile. "So Riley, wanna go to the beach or something instead of bowling?" he asked. "Um, sure." i said eating pizza like it was my 'job'. I wonder if Liam would act different if he was with his 'friends' . 

Just when I was almost on my third piece of pizza, I felt a rumble in my pocket. I stood up, got my phone from my pocket, and sat back down. I saw that I had a text message from my sister, Luna. I haven't talked to my sister in a long time.

*Hey Riley, i'm coming down from Canada. Wanna hangout sometime this week?

-Luna .xx*

*Sure!(: When and where? I'd need to tell mom.

-Riley*

*Um... maybe on Friday. We could probably go to the beach? Or we can go to lunch or something..?

-Luna*

*Sure! Sounds great, maybe we could do both...?:) 

-Riley*

*Okay, I'll let you know.(: See you then sis, love you.

I'm so excited to see my sister. I haven't seen my sister in like, three years. I was so excited I squealed. 

"You okay there?" liam asked. "Yeah, I get to see my sister this week. I havent seen her in three years." i said continuing eating pizza. "Cool!" he said eating. 

~3 hours later~

"Alright, here we are!" liam said. "Finally, It's not that cold either!" i said running on the sand towards the ocean. "Wanna go swimming?" liam asked. "I thought you'd never ask! Good thing I have my swim suit. I was going to ask you if we could go to the beach instead..." i said. 

I quickly got my swimsuit on in the bathroom and ran back out towards the ocean. When I got to where the ocean met my feet, I saw Liam in the ocean already swimming.

"C'mon Riley! The water's warm!" he shouted playing around in the water like a little kid. 

He's so childlike and I love it! Did I just say that? Again? Wow. I've been changing a lot lately...

When I got in the water, Liam lied. It was FREEZING!! 

"You Lied LIAM!!!" i shouted while shivering. "Maybe.... look over there Riley!" he shouted back. I turned my head and saw nothing... When I turned my head back around, he splashed water on my face. "OH, IT'S ON!" i shouted. "LIKE DONKEY KONG??!!" liam said while laughing and running around the ocean like a little kid. I quickly chased after him, and when I was so close to catching him, I tripped in the ocean and fell. Than a wave went over me. "UGH SERIOUSLY!?!?!" i said getting up shivering. "HA-HA-HA-HA-HA! YOU GOT SPLASHED! HA-HA-HA-HA-HA!!" he said in a teasing voice. "You're so like a child Liam! I love it!" oh my god.... did I just say that out loud?? Ugh. I'm so stupid. 

"Well, I'm going to change back... It's cold." i said walking out of the ocean. Just then I felt arms around my waist picking me up. When I got down to the ground, I was facing Liam. Just then, he grabbed my arms, and placed a kiss on my cheek. 

Oh my god... Liam Payne, my BULLY, JUST KISSED  ME!!!! Oh my god....

"Uh- Umm... I'm just gonna..." i said as I walked out of the ocean. 

I'm so stupid.. 

I walked out of the ocean and got my clothes back on, and walked to the car..

It was a silent drive back home. Then, we arrived back at my house. "So I'll see you tomorrow?" liam said. "Yeah, i'll see you then. Bye." i said grabbing my purse. "Bye."
