Melody POV:

5:30 A.M.

I sat on the table that Tailgate placed me at and talked to him about things that humans did or what they made. I explained to him what an automobile was and what electronics were. He seemed very interested in what I was telling him.

I'm sorry about your parents, they sound like bad people

I have never been listened to in years. The last person who listened to me this intently was my brother. But that was years ago. I sighed and closed my eyes for a second, forgetting that Tailgate was there.

Your daddy sounds like a jerk

"Hey, Melody. Are you alright, your leaking some liquid from your optics." Tailgate said, as I wiped the tears off my face.

I guess your mama didn't know the gift she got when she got you

"Yeah I'm fine." I said, trying to keep my voice from cracking. "I just got something in my eye, that's all."

I'm sorry about your life, you had it pretty rough

Tailgate nodded and didn't ask me about again. We sat there in silence for a little bit but it was broken by Rodimus coming over to our table.

Bending over backwards never good enough

"Hey there Melody. So we got your room ready for you. Come on its really cool!" Rodimus said, almost sounding like a very excited teenager.

You poor thing, it must suck to be you

I nodded, and climbed onto the hand that Rodimus had laid down for me. He then pulled his arm back up to his shoulder and let me climb onto his shoulder.

And I know it's not your fault, it never is, is it?

I waved goodbye to Tailgate, who waved back, and Rodimus started walking to the direction of my new room. I held my bag closer to me as we approached my room.

We arrived at my door because it had a place on it that had my name written on it. Rodimus laid his underneath my feet and let me get off his shoulder and onto his hand, and the he crouched down and placed his hand on the floor and let me off of his hand.

It takes more than I have, pick fights with the past, I always lose

"I'll let you settle in, and get used to your room." Rodimus aid and then gave me a small metal card that was half the size of my hand.

Oh, don't you know? That's no way to live

"This is a card for your room, that you and you only can use to get in. A couple of us have a card to your room, but we only have it just incase is a bad situation happens." Rodimus said, while pointing at the card in my hand.

I nodded and scanned my card. The door to my room slid open automatically after I had scanned it. I waved goodbye to Rodimus and entered my room.

I get it, give me a little credit

My room was way bigger than my other room, at my old house. It had a really big bed that had black and white blankets and pillows. My walls were painted white, I had a black dresser over in one corner in my room that was opposite of my bed. A large flat screen TV was sat on my dresser. A big walk-in closet, a bathroom that was probably the biggest bathroom I've ever seen. It had a giant shower and tub, a sink that had a giant mirror attached to it. The sink counter had 5 to 6 drawers that were filled with girl essentials, (The female Autobot's got it for her), a toilet, a towel hanger next to the showers that was pretty big, too. Everything in my room was big.
