just as an fyi, sam and marrin are both around 26 years old in this.

Dean rolled his eyes for the upteenth time that day, watching as his brother nervously talked to their new hunting partner. They were both completely falling for each other. Even Castiel, the oblivious angel, could see it. The girl with the curly black hair and stinging blue eyes was very attractive, and she thought the same of Sam.
"Dude, just go ask her out or something. Stop acting like you're fifteen," Dean spat, grabbing his brother's arm and pulling him into the other room. Castiel broke away from Dean and went to talk to the girl, who was busy cleaning her set of guns.
"Hello, Marrin," Cas sat down on the bed across from her. Marrin looked up and swept her hair from her face, smiling.
"Hey, Castiel," she replied, neatly putting her guns back in her duffle bag. "How are things with you and Dean?"
"Marrin, do you have a crush on Sam?" Castiel asked blatantly, cocking his head. Marrin's cheeks turned red and she raised an eyebrow.
"Excuse me?" Marrin asked harshly, watching Castiel's face.
"Well Dean said he thinks you do," Cas replied, holding back a smile. Marrin's eyes widened and she got up and stormed into the room where Sam and Dean had been talking.
THE CONVERSATION SAM AND DEAN HAD WHILE CAS AND MARRIN WERE GONE:
"DEAN! Stop trying to force me onto her. I don't have any sort of crush on her," Sam spat, throwing his brother off him. Dean rolled his eyes and laughed.
"Oh really? So staring at her and getting all nervous when you talk to her doesn't mean anything, right?" Dean said, crossing his arms.
"Come on, Dean. Cut it out," Sam replied, not looking at his brother.
"I remember someone else doing this to me. I remember saying those words," Dean shot back. Before Sam could reply, Marrin burst into the room, her eyes blazing.
"DEAN WINCHESTER. WHY IS IT THAT YOU ASSUME I HAVE A CRUSH ON YOUR LITTLE BROTHER?" Marrin yelled, making both Winchesters jump.
"Maybe it's because you do. You guys are both really awful at hiding your feeeeelings," Dean shook his head, waiting for Sam to say something.
"Hey, Mar. Can I talk to you?" Sam pushed Dean aside, ignoring the entrance of the very confused angel. Cas and Dean whispered to each other for a moment before leaving the room together, smiling. Marrin felt her heart pounding.
"Uh, yeah. Sure. What's up, Sam?" Marrin responded, trying to act casual.
"Erm. I was wondering if you'd like to go to dinner tonight? Without Cas and Dean. Just... uh. Just us," Sam asked awkwardly, shifting his feet. Marrin smiled at Sam's nervousness.
"Of course, Sam. I would love that," she smirked and reached up to kiss his cheek. They both rolled their eyes when they heard both Dean and Castiel cheering from the other room. Sam guessed that he did kind of deserve to be set up with Marrin. Afterall, that's exactly what he did to his brother and the angel. However, that took three months of convincing. Dean finished his job in less than a month, putting his younger brother to shame.
Marrin and Sam left the giant hidden base at six, both dressed casually. They'd agreed to not do anything fancy or extravagant. Meanwhile, Cas and Dean finally had the place to themselves to watch Netflix (if you know what I mean).
