Chapter 1: Bloodlines

Lily's P.O.V.

Me, Tim (Robin), and BB walked into the training room of the cave to here the computer saying "Decryption completed. Translation completed."

As the three of us stopped in front of Dick while he was looking at something so Tim asked "Is that the Krolotean intel?" BB didn't know what that was so he asked "What Krolotean intel?"

Nightwing answered his question by saying "The data files M'gann and J'onn recovered on Melina island before it was destroyed."

"Well, noted.'' Nightwing then told us "Apparently the Kroloteans were snatching humans to use as guinea pigs. They were hoping to find something. Something inside of us." "What could possibly be inside us that aliens want?" I had asked. 

"There's no english word for it. The nearest translation for it is meta-gene." Tim then asked " What's a meta-gene?" BB made a joke saying "Never met a Jean I didn't like!" While elbowing Tim. 

The computer than said "Warning unknown energy impulse detected." Lighting in the form of a circle formed in the cave, Nightwing made us stand back. A machine then popped on the floor of the cave. Nightwing told us "To stand ready." So we all got into a fight stance with our weapons/fist up to fight if needed to. A boy about my age popped out of the machine and screamed "Ta-Da!!" 

The cave then started to say "Intruder Alert! Intruder Alert!" "Computer, lock down cave." Nightwing said. I then said " Well know we know what energy Impulse is." The boy then said "Impulse! That's so crash. Catchy, Dramatic, one word. (The boy then came towards us) Like Nightwing, Robin, Power, and Beast Boy. Except that's two words. Blue Beetle is two words. Hey is he here to. (He then ran a few feet away from us.) Never mind Impulse can find put for him self." He then ran away. 

"You three. Take him down now!" said Nightwing. We all ran after him I was the first to catch up with him because of my super speed. We ended up fighting and he won. "See u later cutey."the speedster said to me. When we got there Nightwing had him tied up. "HA servers you right!" I said. "Not nice Lily!" So we sat him down on a stole and he told us why he was here. "So your a tourist....from the future?"
