chapter 5: the park

Hayes P.O.V
today is my date set with nia
I hope things go perfectly I kinda like her I don't know much about her but I still kinda like her. I grab my clothes ( A red magcon hoodie, ripped jeans and black and white vans) and I hop in the shower *skip shower* I put my clothes on and brush my hair then head head downstairs "where's hayes going ??"my annoying brother Nash said "I'm going to the park with a person" " its a girl! Isn't it??! ....its a girl!!" Nash screams "No Nash don't be stupid we are not finding out the sex of my baby, so no need to yell ITS A GIRL!" I snap back . I grab my iPhone 6 and a water bottle on the way out the door
Nia's P.O.V
I wake up and grab my clothes ( mint green skater skirt and white "lazy" shirt on the front gotta look good for hayes)
And get in the shower *skip shower* I blow dry my long brown hair straight then I curl it and throw on a mint green bandana then apply my usal makeup: little foundation eyeliner and mascara and I decide to go with a natural pink lipstick to go with. I head downstairs and eat some cereal and a breakfast sandwich. When I am done eating I grab my classic hightop white converse and grab my bag and phone and my long board and head down to the park.*skip trip to the park* when I get to the park I see hayes drifting back and forth slowly on the swing on his phone "hey" I scream to hayes he looks up and says "hey I was wondering when you would get here" we laugh. Hayes says "so I want to know you" i then say "but you already know avout me" then hayes says "no silly I want to know more" then I giggle and reply with "some things are meant to be kept a secret Mr. Grier" we both laugh. I get on the swings and get side tracked on my phone when I feel someone pulling the swing up and I scream and turn around to see hayes attempting to do an underdog and I burst out laughing. He fails the underdog and falls on the ground along with me and we sit their and just laugh for at least 5 minutes and I say "tell me about you besides what Google and your fans know" "OK I have a family, I like skate boarding and chillin with nash when he isn't being such an idiot and I'm single" I laugh so hard then their is a long moment of silence. Hayes breaks the silence by saying" let's get on the teeter totter I then laugh and say "aren't we a little old for that "no!" Hayes screams so we get on the teeter totter and hayes made me fall and he picked me up and through me over his shoulder "put me down!" I scream "OK if you say so" says hayes as if he is about to do something I won't like at all. Hayes drops me on the ground and I get up laughing and wiping the dirt off of me and another moment of silence occurs. Hayes moves in closer and closer and he kisses me. It was not an ordinary kiss... It was actually quite nice and I guess you could say that I felt butterflies in my stomach. I pull away and look at the time. "I have to go now I'll text you later" I say still shocked about the kiss "ok talk to you later nia" he says I Hop on my longboard and go home
