Summer Fling

Could this be love at first sight?

Maybe it just might.

Just by the look of your glaring eyes,

And your very first “Hi!”

I feel butterflies in my tummy

But I don’t want to look like a dummy

You’re too good to be true

So just give me one tiny clue

And there I have it,

The truth came to me in one hit.

After all these time,

I found out you were as sour as lime.

Everything you said was a lie

And everything you did was all a sigh

But I’m really glad this isn’t real,

Because I was almost getting wheeled in.

Then reality woke me up…

Now I know all these are nothing

But a so called summer fling.
