Temple Run

The big day

I woke up with the sound of Annie shouting.

" It's 6:30 am! You have to get ready fast!!"

After half an hour everyone was ready and were looking at each other with depression.

"Get us some money, kids!!" Annie said

"Bye Annie! " everyone said as they waved.

" Time to show the magic of this baby!" Frances said looking towards the helicopter.

There were 6 seats in the back and 2 in front. I decided to sit with Frances because I really liked him and the other reason he needed a hand operating the helicopter.

I looked at Scarlett, she was sitting with Karma. She was sad. My thoughts were interrupted by Frances calling me.

"Hey Jack can you check the gasoline?? And enough with the staring, you!!" Frank said laughing.

"It's full."I said with straight face.

"Here we go!" He exclaimed as we took off.

It's Scarlett's point of view for some time.

"So what's going on between you and Jack?? He seems nice." Karma said teasingly

"Umm..nothing" I said as I blushed. I could feel blood rushing to my cheeks.

I was tired. I slept for a while which seemed like hours with head on Karma's lap . I woke up with Frances voice.

"We're here." Frances said looking at the scenic beauty of the island.

We got off the helicopter. I saw Jack. He's the best thing that's ever happened to me. I am in love with him!

We drank some juice and started walking. And then suddenly Jack fell unconscious.

He was not getting up. I started crying. Karma started consoling me. Just then Barry called.

"It's nothing. He's just sleepy . I think we should rest here for sometime." Barry said.

Just then I don't know from where I got the courage. I went up to him, climbed on top of him and kissed him passionately.

End of Scarlett's point of view.

I felt sonething soft on my lips and I smiled. As I opened my eyes I saw Scarlett on top of me and all the others staring at us and laughing.

This was the best feeling. THE BEST . I kissed her back and hugged her tightly. I could see her blushing. I smiled at her and then she covered her face in my chest with embarrassment. Zach started laughing and everyone joined him. I got red like a tomato.

"Guys its 12:00 pm and I think we should get going. Otherwise it'll get dark soon" Barry said with a concerned voice.

"Yeah we should." Scarlett said getting up.

We started walkimg but the path never seemed to end. I glanced at my watch it was 8:15pm and still there was np sign of an evening. It still semmed like afternoon.

Karma took out a map from her backpack and then said "We'll spend the night over here."

"Night!??? Does it seems like a bloody night to you?? Then what is it like in the night???" Smith said with a disgusted voice.

" No need to shout alright!! It is like that here. I've read some articles about this place. Sun sets at 9 pm here. And sun rises at 8 am."

"Whoa nice!! Cool" Zach said excitedly.

Just then I heard a roar. We all turned towards the sound.

"Is it a boar??" Frances asked

"I don't know. It might be." Barry answered.

"Let's fix the tents before 9 pm." Karma said

"Well what about food??"Zach asked

"You, me and smith are going fishing" Barry said

"We'll set the temts and the camping area" Karma said looking towards Scarlett.

"I'll get some logs and freshwater. Mind if you give me a hand jack??" Frances asked

" No.. Not at all" I answered.

We took off to the woods. There was no talking overall. We quickly grabbed the logs and walked towards the camp.

"Hold these logs and head towards the camp.I'll get some water" Frances said
I nodded and walked away.

Whoa..It's beautiful. The camp was well lit. My mouth was hanging open when Karma called.

"Hey you are back!" Karma said with a smile.

"But how did you.. where did you..uhh.. how did you light this place up??" I asked finally able to speak up.

"When you left I gathered some logs from the nearby farm" Scarlett said

"So was it really a farm?? What was it like??" I asked.

"It wasn't  really a farm but a badly damaged house. Perhaps a storm destroyed the house because there were two dead bodies.. but no sign of blood. So I guess storm was it." Scarlett said.

"Can you take me there??" I asked

" Yeah sure I'll take you there before it becomes too dark. Let's go"
